Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
RaymanPC brings both the most logical and illogical people together.
I imagine the reason the RPC interview never happened is because our questions were too complicated and far fetched, referring to things Ancel probably hasn't thought about in ages or even really gone into much. There were questions about the cancelled Rayman 4 and beta elements of Rayman 2, and I think the aim of the interview was more intended to be Origins based. A new interview isn't gonna happen, if Ancel wanted to connect with us he would have done so already.

Well, it's still in development, so currently it can only support the platforms which CryEngine does, which includes Windows, Linux, and all current-generation consoles.Raymania wrote:Ad, how I try Rayman Revenge Of The Dark? I have a Mac.
Yep, it's good-ol' Tuna!RaymanPS1 wrote:Hey Keane. Are you the good old RayTunes??

Or as I knew him when we first met, Superluigi, blimey, things have changed in the last three years.

This and probably other things that I suspect but I'm not gonna say in public.Keane wrote:RaymanPC brings both the most logical and illogical people together.

The truth bomb has been dropped!Keane wrote: I imagine the reason the RPC interview never happened is because our questions were too complicated and far fetched, referring to things Ancel probably hasn't thought about in ages or even really gone into much.
Of course Ancel can't answer detailed questions about characters from the first game! Why would he ever have put any thought into that? I can't even imagine why that stuff is so interesting to some people anyway.
Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
I agree with Keane and Haruka. Although I think that Ancel not have account here, unfortunately!I imagine the reason the RPC interview never happened is because our questions were too complicated and far fetched, referring to things Ancel probably hasn't thought about in ages or even really gone into much. Surely know the place, but I guess no cares for us. He will evaluate the standards (tastes, opinions etc.) probably only by statesmen and other sources. If he really follow its "instinct" do not perform these operations in first person.
Then, the interview is just an occasional concession.

Well, Keane is literally the name of one of his (and my) favourite bands, so it's just as blunt as RayTunes.

Keane that sings "Somewhere Only We Know"? God, I love that band.Adsolution wrote:Well, Keane is literally the name of one of his (and my) favourite bands, so it's just as blunt as RayTunes.

Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
Yup, the one and only!
Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
I have an idea which would probably sell good but very hard.
Make a Rayman Trilogy with R1 - R2 - R3 HD but giving an option to play most of removed things (like removed ennemies in Rayman1 - Removed Maps on Rayman 2, removed friend of Rayman 2 - Unused story and maps of Rayman 3 and a real 2D Rayman 2 game with all the removed powers, like choosing direction of punch!).

Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
Your idea is not bad, but with the resources spent continuosly on achieving only ever remakes it would be better to publish once and for all Rayman 4 or at least a new Rayman in that style? Since do not think the new series 2D lasts forever, I believe that sooner or later will exploit again the 3D therefore is a question that must be asked... unless they decide to stop the series with Rayman Legends and its Spin-off (of course I'm ironic)I have an idea which would probably sell good but very hard.

Let's be realistic. It is never going to happen.WeshKanapesh wrote:I have an idea which would probably sell good but very hard.

Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
yeah, but it''s a goad idea right :p ?
Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
I'm not sure about it either. Sure it'd be neat to experience the cut content for some, but I rather have a new game instead.
Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
That would be best HD Collection ever if it existed, but I doubt Ubisoft even remembers most of those things.WeshKanapesh wrote:I have an idea which would probably sell good but very hard.

I'd like to ask Micheal if he will do a remake of Rayman 1 with ubiArt framework, and restyled worlds to fit more with the setting of Rayman 2 and 3.

That's extremely specific, and I'll answer 'no' on his behalf.
