Hmm, still trying to unlock your bootloader? Is your phone locked or unlocked to a network? If it's unlocked, there should be an official method of doing it, depending on the year it came out. My Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S had its bootloader unlocked via an official method provided by the Sony website.
