Re: Future Rayman games
In the next game they should add a costume that adds limbs to Rayman. Just as a little Easter egg, you know?

Re: Future Rayman games
Ah, hello again, dropping by once more, eh?
Hehe, it'd be a funny concept, odd, but funny. A bit like how LittleBigPlanet had that skin which referenced a playable character from an earlier iteration of what would become LittleBigPlanet.

Re: Future Rayman games
That'd be cool, I guess.
Re: Future Rayman games
As I wrote in the section dedicated to the questions for the interview with Ancel:
Since do not think the new series 2D lasts forever, I believe that sooner or later will exploit 3D again so I have from years a plot in mind: Bad Rayman returns after plotting revenge trying to destroy the world of Rayman plunging him into darkness, Rayman will have to reach the top of the world and will have to deal with it in an epic final battle!
: )

Re: Future Rayman games
Sounds kinda cliche in my opinion. :/
Re: Future Rayman games
Then again, all 2D Mario games from main series have same story and games are pure Masterpiece.
I personally would not mind 3D Rayman game with story like Raymania said.

Re: Future Rayman games
This comes to my mind for now. I have some other ideas, but they are only on technical aspect (gameplay specifically) of game and nothing else. You have in mind something different? Tell me yours, I'd love to share ideas : )Sounds kinda cliche in my opinion. :/
Do you like that Rayman remains in 2D? Ok, nothing against. But as you well know, I like that Rayman come back to 3D. Since I'm in the right thread to talk, avoid unnecessary disputes and at all costs just because I'm unsympathetic to someone. Then again, all 2D Mario games from main series have same story and games are pure Masterpiece.

I can still say my without necessarily being targeted?! We are in a free forum or not?!
Also I'd like to point that Mario results always nice (both 2D and 3D) because he remained the same in almost 30 years. Instead Rayman is changed, 2D or 3D that be. My problem is not the 2D, but is the seriousness of game. I want a new Rayman seriously as those of the past! It does not matter at that point whether it is 2D or 3D.

Re: Future Rayman games
Your quote tags aren't working, you've got BBCode disabled, haven't you?
Re: Future Rayman games
Yes, I disabled.
Re: Future Rayman games
Oh so if I understand you, since Mario was simple from start you like both 3D and 2D games and are happy that he never changed story and style but you don't like how Rayman went from serious story telling game to silly one?

For example: Rayman Raving Rabbids for GBA was in 2D, but is damn good! Indeed is in my sealed Rayman's collection.
I had also previously written:
This is what no one has ever understood of my discussion. It is true that I like 3D, but that's not the reason of my continuous gripes, and I hope that now it is finally clear. My problem is not the 2D, but is the seriousness of game. Re: Future Rayman games
Eh, I don't think a serious tone would work in a 2D Rayman game.
Re: Future Rayman games
In Rayman 1, Rayman 2 (for GBC), Rayman 3 (for GBA), Rayman Raving Rabbids (for GBA), Rayman Garden, Rayman Bowling, Rayman Golf and Rayman Kart it worked, why according to you it should not work with other 2D future titles?Eh, I don't think a serious tone would work in a 2D Rayman game.

Re: Future Rayman games
You own Rayman Garden?
Re: Future Rayman games
I had it on Trium Eclipse. Like an idiot I sold my Trium Eclipse two years ago (I don't remember why) and now I'm re-searching the application compatible to install on my Nokia N-Gage.

By 2D, I meant the Main entries in the Rayman franchise. Neither 1, Origins, and Legends have a serious tone to them.Raymania wrote:In Rayman 1, Rayman 2 (for GBC), Rayman 3 (for GBA), Rayman Raving Rabbids (for GBA), Rayman Garden, Rayman Bowling, Rayman Golf and Rayman Kart it worked, why according to you it should not work with other future titles?Eh, I don't think a serious tone would work in a 2D Rayman game.
Re: Future Rayman games
Rayman 1 for me is very serious and mystic, indeed I regret it as Rayman 2 TGE (my prefer).By 2D, I meant the Main entries in the Rayman franchise. Neither 1, Origins, and Legends have a serious tone to them.
And Rayman Raving Rabbids for GBA is part of the main series : )

Re: Future Rayman games
You won't find it compatible for Nokia N-Gage ever trust me on that one. I cannot even find TV Party application complatible for my N-Gage, and I barely found complatible version of RRR1 for N-Gage.Raymania wrote:I had it on Trium Eclipse. Re: Future Rayman games
But even if I extrapolates the application from a Trium Eclipse and install it to N-Gage doesn't work? You won't find it compatible for Nokia N-Gage ever trust me on that one. Re: Future Rayman games
I don't know if it is possible to transfer pre installed apps from one phone to another unless you don't have source installation file. It also has to do if file is signed with older Java version or newer. Newer signed Java games are not compatible with N-Gage. Thankfully some RRR1 versions were signed with older Java version but most of download links include new version.
