Re: Awesome words
Hm, LEDs are pretty much the equivalent of bulbs, did you mean LCD?
As for a word, Pedantic, seeing as I can be like that at times.

Re: Awesome words
... no? I mean that LEDs would be for example green and light up green to show that a current was running through them (think 'powered on'-light).

Re: Awesome words
Oooh, I see, my bad. I remember using three of them, including one extra-bright one as part of my electronics coursework last year, made an entire astable just to get the LED to blink, hehe.

Well, at least it's not atrociously bodacious.
Re: Awesome words
Not that it seems so awesome, but I love the word "Hell". I can't explain why, but I like how the word sounds like.

In a similar vein, brimstone has a nice ring to it too.

"Antibabypillen" is my current favourite word.

Re: Awesome words
Yup. It sounds so stupid, especially in a German accent, which is why I love it.

Re: Awesome words
I've recently taken a liking to the phrases "Ignorant clots" and "Molyn labe"; the latter, when spelled in Ancient Greek, I'm pretty sure is used in
battle to say "Come and take".
They don't really sound like anything special, for some reason I've really taken a liking to them.

Re: Awesome words
Μολυν is not a word I'm familiar with, but it's certainly not the verb 'come here'. Λαβε, yes, means 'carry', 'bring', but 'take' is a bit of a loose translation.

Re: Awesome words
"Ignorant clots?" Huh, that actually rings a bell. As for me, I'm more for "debilitating idiot."
