Popped Tom and Jerry : The Movie into the DVD player ONCE AGAIN, and listened to Friends To The End ONCE AGAIN.

Only this time I put it in different languages. The Spanish version wasn't very appealing, and it wasn't even available in Portuguese, but I came to really like the.French version!

Now if only I.knew.French.

I did listen to both of them. While I did like Revolving Doors, I didn't enjoy Rhinestone Eyes. Though to be completely honest, Revolving Doors is more earwormy than Rhinestone Eyes.

This is some fine dark, moody synth-rock.

The best album to get into Gorillaz is probably Demon Days, it's probably the most accessible and the instrumentation is top notch from start to finish. :)

And speaking of Gorillaz, Damon's solo album is out!

Damon Albarn - The Selfish Giant

I'm absolutely stunned by this album. Judging from the songs he already put out I was clearly gonna enjoy this album a lot, but it's been a while since an album just immediately clicks with me. The melancholy atmosphere is fantastic, I really hope we might be able to go to England this summer just so I can match the environment with the songs.

It's understandable. Rhinestone eyes is one of those tracks that you only grow to love the more you listen to it - I thought it was kind of strange on my first hearing, but now it's my favourite Gorillaz song. After only listening to revolving doors once, my first time, it was stuck in my head for days.

Well, I guess you're right. Also, Revolving Doors, and in fact, The Fall as a whole, is massively underrated!

I think a big part of the reason The Fall isn't liked too much is because the cartoony and "badass" aspects of Gorillaz also attracts a generally younger audience, there's a lot of "omg 2d is so hott!! i think noodle is a cool person and stuff!!! dude if u dont liek this u have no taste in musc" in the comment sections, just compare it with the comments on Damon's solo stuff. Gorillaz is probably really appealing to those folks when it's all about the rappers and cool beats, but something like The Fall is more experimental.

That might be true. Another reason I can think of is that it's not a main studio album like Plastic Beach was, so people were disappointed.

Gorillaz - Revolving Doors

Like I said - underrated as fuck!
