The guy how leaked the poster also had this.

Either it's fake, or some fan has gotten his hands on some artwork.

There's nothing that screams fake about that to me. It looks in line with previous renders we've seen.

I saw someone on the SSMB say that this could be used to promote Star Wars Battlefront. An odd way to promote that game, but it works.

Oooooooh wait...I didn't even notice Darth Vader in the background...

OK, now my eyebrows are raised, and I'm confused.

Sorry for the bump, but there is no better place for me to post about this:

I've already been talking about it in other topics, but I'm making a post-commentary playthrough of Sonic Lost World Wii U, and it's coming along pretty smoothly. I'll be ready to upload parts sometime next week (if I run into no issues - I'm not sure when I can start recording, since my sister is currently studying for exams), and will publish them when the 2160p options are available.

I just want to post a link to my channel, so anyone who is interested can subscribe to my channel. If you know anyone who would be interested in watching this, be sure to tip them off to my channel too.

Also, here are the thumbnails I have created for the various parts. I hope they're good enough to spur some interest:

Huh, I'll check out the videos sometime, but I must compliment your thumbs, they look pretty well done indeed.

So this playthrough may take a little longer than expected to put out.

I was using a video production software called PowerDirector for everything since it easily renders in 4K. However, editing has been a pain. I can't even find a way to do something as simple as reduce the audio volume of particular points of the video, which I need to do for the parts where I speak into the microphone.

I just downloaded Adobe Premiere Pro though, since it's supposed to be a really good editor and you can easily render in 4K there too, so if I'm satisfied with it, I'll be using it from now on. I'll want upload a quick test though before I get into editing my playthrough in it, and I may not get to do all of that until tomorrow.

PLEASE whoever this character is, scrap it. No Sonic fan wants this.

Oh, but I do want change. I want them to stop inventing such crappy characters for a change. 90% of Sonic cast should be killed off.

Anyways this is article I found:

Just saw Sticks:

She seems like an alright character. She could be a very fun addition to the Sonic Boom universe.

However, it's admittedly difficult to understand her voice, though that might be intentional.

I still think and will continue to think that adding her into show was a big mistake. However I am glad it is not Marine. Either way, I am now drastically less excited for show and game (she is confirmed for game too).

So the concept of adding new characters at all is inherently bad?

Because you're making it sound like that. There is no reason to hate this character right now. She could be really funny/engaging in the show, and really fun to play in the game. It's too early to be condemning the series over one character.

EDIT: Another piece of information - character renders have been greatly touched up. Amy seems to like pulling weird expressions though.

Obviously you don't seeing as you already started hating on the character and wanted them to get rid of her before anything other than a render was even made. Not to mention now you almost hate the show just because the new character was added.

Yes I do when it's a good change. Why do you think I loved preview of Sonic Boom? Because it looked amazing and different from Sonic I seen before.
I really liked how only characters were Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Robotnik and it was perfect that way. Not to mention they said Amy will have much better personality then from Japanese games.
And adding this character that screams shitty fanart is ruining that perfection.

......OK, what?

You know, there is no "template" for shitty fan characters. And if there is, Sticks isn't it. Her design is really appealing and perfectly suitable for the direction they are taking this series. While the other characters use gadgets a lot, Sticks is a wild child, having survived in the wilderness for years. Not only will this be a nice setup for interesting character development and the creation of many quirky scenarios, but it's also a nice nod to the roots of the franchise, since the original Sonic the Hedgehog game always had a "nature VS machine" message behind it. While that will still be apparent here, they are also showing how nature and machines can also work in tandem and benefit each other, this time.

I actually kind of like Sticks, she seems like a character that would be a lot of fun to watch. We've never really seen a Sonic character with this kind of personality, so it feels really fresh.
Fun Fact: The voice actress of Sticks also did Pandora in Kid Icarus Uprising.

Why yes I did. In fact, that was pretty much all I heard when Viridi talked.
