When I saw the Fiesta Run update trailer, I mistook him for DarkRay due to the less than stellar quality, make of that what you will.

Hm, I went back to check, but it appears it's been taken down, the URL does suggest that it was a WereRay though.
 
It would make sense, given that "garou" literally means werewolf in French. Raygarou = Raywerewolf. But of course we wanna be appealing here, so WereRay would make better sense. Heh. Garou kinda sounds like a either a growl or a howl when spoken. XD
 
Oh, no I was referring to the part about your contest entry, not the name of the character in Fiesta Run, I've yet to acquire this update meself.

Actually, the most correct translation would be WereRay, since "loup garou" in French is werewolf, and "loup" is wolf, so "garou" is the "were" part. :)

Sadly, the official name (straight from the game's script) is "Raywolf". Other new names are "Teensllo", "Raylatin" and "RayChinese".

To add to the confusion, I'm pretty sure I saw Raywolf being referred to as "Nightmare Ray" (or a play on words with "cauchemar" in French) somewhere in the game's internal files.
This whole thing just goes to show how much we think about things the creators don't put their time in at all. :P
 
They just think up in something and they litterally throw their heads to the submission in the files. There. :P

That's really weird. The image itself is still in my gallery and I don't recall making any sort of change to it after the contest. =/
 
Does anyone know if the new Fiesta Run update is on Android yet? I tried redownloading the game and still cannot see any traces of the update.
 
Google Play note that the latest version was released May 20th, which I'd assume would correlate to this update, which was announced just a few days prior. That being said, I don't think I've actually heard of anyone with an Android device who've yet obtained the update, though could just be me.
 
Well, I can see achievements concerning the Candy Land on Android, but nothing about the update in the game itself. How does one access the Candy levels (or the Nightmare Mode) on the iOS versions?

No, not yet. I have been using the Wi-Fi on my tablet everyday to see if I could catch up the update but no avail. The update was for Apple iOs first for some reason. They could release everything at the same time.
 
The truth is that it is easier to program for iOS because only few devices support that OS while Android is used by many different ones so it takes more time. But it would be better if they could wait after they are done with iOS and relesea at same time I agree.

This includes the script and textures of the latest update of Rayman Fiesta Run, straight from the iOS version. The texture pack is incomplete: it doesn't include Raywolf but it does include RayChinese for some reason. It seems most of the extra character's skins are downloaded from the internet, and I can't find the location. I'll look at the Android version later - Android code is a lot easier to decompile. :D
