Of course, I'm glad that I could explain. And in any case, as I had already written, you've just expressed an opinion then everything was ok.Please, will you accept my apology?
After what I've read I agree with you.The Rayman Wikia isn't really the best source, articles like this: http://rayman.wikia.com/wiki/Blue_Rayman, don't really help its credibility, what you've put in red there seems more like wishful thinking.

Meh, that was really nothing more than an innocent mistake, and, to be fair, it is an easy assumption to make if you don't know a lot about game engines.Adsolution wrote:Simply thinking for a split second would signify that... the speed at which the game designers decided to have Rayman be able to sprint has no correlation to the engine it's running on. Not even the same ballpark, or the same sport. That's so far out there. It's like saying that the Unity Engine processes sound well because someone modelled a high-poly character in Maya before even trying to export it to the game yet.

Michel Ancel: Why did you tear my soul apart when the Rabbids were made?
Re: Interview of Michel Ancel: the fans ask the questions!
Estimated Michel Ancel, there is some hope to develop and publish in coming years a new Rayman's title in 3D-Platform style, but in the authentic style?
So to speak the style of Rayman, Rayman 2, Rayman 3 or the GBA version of Rayman Raving Rabbids, scilicet really serious, dark, creep and impressive how the first era of the Rayman series?
Best regards

The interview is over, by the way.

Given the circumstances, I'm beginning to wonder if we should just lock this thread and let it die, the writing on the wall makes it clear that nothing is going to come out of this thread. I see no reason to keep this zombie project walking.

I considered requesting this yesterday, actually, but I thought it'd be good if there were still a place where we could discuss the things about this interview. But seeing as that never happens, perhaps it's best to leave that discussion to places like Rayman Himself etc.. If you do lock it, please tell the community why (i.e. the interview never took place, there will be no interview) - it's a bit disappointing to come to a thread when searching for information online via for example Google and finding it was locked for no apparent reason.

Some members need to confirm first the date of the first post before replying.

Even so, this topic seems to have gone through some less than apt discussion with recent bumps, I'd rather the prospect of this interview having not happened made firm by locking the thread to prevent such error. I agree that if it were locked, a final post should make mention that this topic wasn't able to come to fruition, and the process had ended.
I'd like to hear the thoughts of others before I do anything of the sort, however, so make your thoughts known, folks.

I don't see the need to close it; people making irrelevant posts in threads can happen anywhere. Interviews are big things, so someone might have something good to say at any point.
