< believes mini-modding to be an act of superiority, like a way of acting like a higher up to another member while also hinting at the idea that they make a better mod than the mod team. Of course it can be viewed as a way of helping the team but there's a fine line between what is considered "helping" and what is "acting a as mod".

"Mini-modding" is only that when the person's intent is to make it that, and, from <'s experience, the intent is usually to help the mod team, or to express annoyance at something someone else did. Granted, < basically agrees that mini-modding with the intent and tone (i.e., truly "acting as a mod") of what you described is stupid and arrogant, but, again, that usually isn't the case. What bothers < more is how Fifo doesn't seem to understand when his actions enter nitpicking territory, when the intended friendly reminder becomes agonizingly annoying.

But, meh, < agrees that we should drop this now. < only posted because he meant to post last night and didn't get to.
