Re: Rayman 3
There aren't really any 'best cheats', since there are as many possibilities as there are hex digits in the game.

The two possibilities

Re: Rayman 3
I wonder if at any point it would be possible to misuse another character's model as your own using CheatEngine. Playing as Globox sounds like fun. And game-breaking.

Re: Rayman 3
Highly unlikely to work without choking/freezing/crashing the game!
Re: Rayman 3
The only problem with hacking that game is that rebooting game change values, and I'm so angry when I found a cool value but the game crashes because I put a wrong value then I lost all
Re: Rayman 3
WTF? I tried a RSJ horrible machine skip, I died, then I got error, "incorrect rayman, please fix asap"

Incorrect Rayman? Fascinating error, is it possible to share any visual of it?

Re: Rayman 3
Ugh, Wesh, don't you know you're supposed to insert the right Rayman in the right game? Come on, we can't have R1's antics running about inside R3, now, can we?

Re: Rayman 3
With the power of hacking and modding, I hope one day such a possibility will be more than just a mere hypothetical.
Re: Rayman 3
Don't understand why you mean, sorry XD. Can you re-explain a bit more pleaseShrooblord wrote:Ugh, Wesh, don't you know you're supposed to insert the right Rayman in the right game? Come on, we can't have R1's antics running about inside R3, now, can we?
Here's a screen of the error: http://prntscr.com/3pm14q (sorry crappy quality, I took it from GC)
I saw someone had it on PC but it was when PC was running too fast, here it's from my GameCube...

Re: Rayman 3
Shroobie's just poking fun at the error saying that there's the wrong Rayman. Though it seems the error is in fact wrong Rayman position, could it have something to do with the way Rayman 3 does events in levels?
Re: Rayman 3
That error can often occur in this area, sometimes without any other glitch. It is a harmless error and will go away quickly. It can also occur at the start of Teensie Highways occasionally.

Re: Rayman 3
I guess it might happen if he spawns out of map, which I guess could happen if they shoddily designed the entrance area…

Power Progression in Hoodlum Havoc!
Anybody else feel like the Progression was too fast. You get to your 3rd area after the Teensie Council room, and you have almost ALL of the powers......
I don't like games too much when they give me all the toys or tools of destruction early on. I wanna EARN them!
Post your opinions below.
I'm off to play Ray3 some more....

Hmm, I don't really think this needs to be a separate topic, if you don't mind me, I'll be merging this with the main R3 thread.
As for the powers, well, not really, no. Given the length of R3 and its nature as a more arcade-esque kind of game, it's to be expected.

Re: Rayman 3
It's no matter, anyways, on to the matter at hand. What makes you feel that R3 is a bit quick with the powers?

Re: Rayman 3
I can see where you're coming from having played the Rayman 1 and 2 games, presumably, where it takes you right up until the final part of the game to discover all powers and gaming techinques you will be encountering in the games. Still, I'll have to disagree. The progression of when you unlock what power feel fine to me. In fact, what I like most about it is the combination of discovering new power-ups and immediately combining them with others you previously used, such as the Heavy Fist-Lockjaw combo in the Land of the Livid Dead (not a great example but the only one I could think of that kind of illustrates my point off the top of my head).

Re: Rayman 3
I just feel like you get all your powers pretty fast in the game, like progressing more and more after the first Funkyland transitional stage. I dunno I just wanted to earn them and have it be longer-apart from each other. Meaning I unlock one power probably every 30-40 minutes of Gameplay. It's just I feel the Powers get unlocked really fast for some reason. I liked the Power Progression in Ray1. THAT's the type I wanted. You unlock a new power every certain timespan or number of levels.Master wrote:It's no matter, anyways, on to the matter at hand. What makes you feel that R3 is a bit quick with the powers?
