Re: Rayman emulation
I found what appears to be a working Rayman 1 NTSC-U Saturn cue/bin. I seem to remember that OCG couldn't find one so used a European version (or was it Japanese) in his download. Would anyone be interested in this?

Re: Rayman emulation
There is a working NTSC-U version CUE/BIN of Rayman for the Sega Saturn, indeed, and it is not that hard to find one. I preferably take Darkwater's rip.

Re: Rayman emulation
I have two NTSC-U copies of the game, and would be happy to upload a bin/cue if anyone wants it.

Re: Rayman emulation
There is not one rip of the NTSC-U version for the PS1 that seems to work. It would be pretty awsome if you could upload yours.

Re: Rayman emulation
I was talking about the Saturn version lol, but here. My NTSC-U PS1 rip. (If you're using ePSXe, be sure to use it with version 1.9.)
But, yeah, I'll upload my Saturn copy when I get home.
EDIT: Saturn NTSC-U download. I recommend using this over the image OCG included, unless you can speak Japanese.

Re: Rayman emulation
I might be wrong but I guess the only change in the japanese version is the FMV.technology4617 wrote:Yes, but the FMVs are in Japanese.OldClassicGamer wrote:Japanese version is fully on English text wise so...

Re: Rayman emulation
I'm fairly certain that most people would prefer to have the FMVs in a language they understand.
Re: Rayman emulation
Well, considering that Rayman is not JRPG, maybe so. I know JRPG is the genre where people prefer Japanese voices and English text combo best.

Re: Rayman emulation
I got a question. Why is the PlayStation ISO link still for the PAL version? Y'know, the one that doesn't even run at the right speed?
Re: Rayman emulation
I could fix it (with permission, of course) if I were a mod. But it seems that I'll never be one. And I don't need to be one.technology4617 wrote:I got a question. Why is the PlayStation ISO link still for the PAL version? Y'know, the one that doesn't even run at the right speed?

Please don't ever mention that topic again. Your passive-aggressiveness is not remotely ambiguous.Fifo wrote:(...)if I were a mod. But it seems that I'll never be one. And I don't need to be one.
