Re: Rayman Legends
Okay. So how's the length of the book? If you don't mind me asking.

Re: Rayman Legends
Your English seems very good actually.
@Brad: Wasn't a figure of 200 pages mentioned?

Re: Rayman Legends
Concerning the number of pages I can't say it precisely because it depends on the layout artist (hope it's the correct term ^^). But yes, it'll be between 200 and 250 pages approximatively.
Re: Rayman Legends
Waoh, this amount of pages is big. Considering how many Rayman games there are right now, I guess it's normalMotormike wrote:Concerning the number of pages I can't say it precisely because it depends on the layout artist (hope it's the correct term ^^). Re: Rayman Legends
How's the size of each page? Is it around the A4 format?
Re: Rayman Legends
I really hope it will be in-depth history with ALL info and seeing the page number, whatever format they are, it probably will be detailed.
Re: Rayman Legends
I hope there will be something unseen info about the early prototypes, like the early jaguar version.
Re: Rayman Legends
The jaguar version is discussed, of course. The first prototype has absolutely nothing to do with the game as we know it ^^ Frédéric Houde has been so kind that he let us see the 'bible' Ancel and him have presented to Ubisoft to convince them of making the game. That's just fantastic to see!
Regarding the size of the book I don't know what my editor will decide. I'll let you know ^^

Re: Rayman Legends
Thank you for your reply. There will be informations about the prototype and the moment that Ubisoft got convinced to make the game?
That's surely something we must read!

Re: Rayman Legends
Ah nice, you got to talk to Frédéric Houde? I don't think we've heard much from him outside of his co-credit for creating Rayman, this'll be nice to read indeed.

Re: Rayman Legends
Hey I just wondered, doesn't Ubisoft said that there would be a "Champion Ray" skin for the best challengers in leaderboards, on PS4 and Xbox One ?
Because I never saw it in any videos or screenshots from the game.

Yes indeed.Haruka wrote:There will be informations about the prototype and the moment that Ubisoft got convinced to make the game?
@master
Yep we interviewed Fred Houde at Ubisoft Montpellier among many other people. He's not as 'famous' as Ancel but he's really as important as him on the first Rayman.
Re: Rayman Legends
Someone managed to understand how the engine of the game works, and he is going to release an unofficial level editor !

Re: Rayman Legends
And this is why I bought Rayman Legends on Steam, despite owning the Wii U version. This was bound to happen, and I'm really excited to see that it is.Squiz wrote:Someone managed to understand how the engine of the game works, and he is going to release an unofficial level editor !

Re: Rayman Legends
OOh, nice work indeed. Guess I ought to get the PC version sometime down the line then.
Re: Rayman Legends
Yay! Have the uplay Version! ;D
Re: Rayman Legends
Very interesting discovery. I think it would be very cool an official release of kind of a Rayman Designer but with the engine of Origins/Legends. It would be nice to see what the forum members were inventing.
