Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
August 2 would suit me fine, I believe.
Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
July 26th and August 2nd are good dates. Mostly August 2nd though, since I will be finish with my summer program.
Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
I think I'm advailable for August 2nd.

Damn that's a long old wait, well let me know what dates you're thinking and I'll most likely be able to attend!

Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
Come to think of it, I think it'll actually be a good thing to have it a bit later. It'll allow people to gain a few more tings, so when it comes to Records Day the increases will be greater; as people will be further advanced!
Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
I would prefer the 2nd August.

Hmm, argh. Y'see the problem here is that barring one formal function, my summer plans aren't completely solid yet. I don't think there's anything happening on August 2nd, but there very well might be when I get closer to the time.

August 2nd is very unlikely though I should know very soon.

I'm still ok with any date from the 26th onwards, anything before is a big no no.

Nope, June is now out of the question, the next upcoming date for consideration is July 26th (it's quite a leap I know, but them's the breaks).

Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
Ah thanks Master. Well July isn't so bad. Just depends on you busy folks. You'd have to try hard to find a day I couldn't do haha
Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
It's always like that : people always have plans. The difference is, some are actually necessary if we want to break a new record.
No offense, but Serza being first twice in a row with more than 3k posts in 24 hours still quite a lot. OCG is also a great asset for record day, and hopefully Rulez and Rayfist will be there.
With Hunch we reached good numbers last year, but we didn't manage to reach 2000 posts, which is already pretty good. Anyway, Serza with 3k is the insane master, and she stopped for like 5 hours XD.
I was so exhausted last year, being awake during all 24 hours. Should have taken a nap in preparation for this day. Will probably do it this time.

Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
I've been able to pass the 1000K marker during the two Record Days I've been part in, and I've always ended up having some handicap in both (I didn't stay up late for the first, and the second had me completely exhausted after a trip, and then having me go on another trip with naught but a smartphone). I'm hoping such a handicap doesn't rear its head for a third time, and if it does, it's not as completely destructive as the two I've had.

Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
I know I was absent for the last two, but I think I could be a great asset this year. I've already started brainstorming the topics I could try starting, etc.

Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
I only won one Record Day though? I do believe I won two years ago then last year I only managed 3rd.saerleiya wrote: No offense, but Serza being first twice in a row with more than 3k posts in 24 hours still quite a lot. Either way if Rayfist was fully devoted to Record Day he could easily beat me as he manages to catch up with posts so fast.

Re: Ninth edition of the posts in a day record
Des' BONK thread was huge activity booster, and I've no doubt it'll be as useful this year. (I'm still for the X is confirmed thread, by the way.)
