Hi there I need of your help...
I would play after many years to Rayman 2, but since I sold many years ago my Nintendo 64 and Dreamcast can only play it on iPad. The game has been removed from the App-Store and it seems impossible to find and download by web (all links have expired or are scams), could you help me to find a realiable application and download it?
I can tell that the iPad is the classic one but I don't know the specific model since it isn't written anywhere and in addition the iPad is not mine.
You should be able to still find it on pirate apps like Cydia and Installous (I haven't owned an iOS device since iOS 5, excuse me if those aren't things anymore).
Installous is dead, but AppCake has real Rayman 2 iOS links. Just download AppCake from Cydia and you are good to go.
Still, iOS version is beyond uplayable for my taste due to akward touch controls. You are better off playing PC version and on Dreamcast Emulator.
Awwww what, it's gone? Ah, i remember when i first got it back in 2011 in a iPhone 3 i used to own (back when Angry Birds, Talking Fom, Cut the Rope, etc were hot), costed like $4.something, and one thing worth noting to me is that since it was a big file (i guess), the rest of the installment had to be not only in the mobile phone itself, but the rest completed in a laptop with the apple store on it. Not sure if this was just my specific case, or occurs much more commonly than i think.
Ahhh good times, but those times itself brought back memories from mine when i played R2TGE much earlier in my life.
I wish i point out more, (don't own it anymore btw) but while it is widespread knowledge that this iOS port was from the Dreamcast version, minus all those Globox Village bonuses, heck even the end-of-stage bonus levels are completely omitted, but beside all that, i noticed many sound effects were removed from this variant, and yea i know for storage capacity reasons, but… awww shucks.
Its cause those sound effects, well to me, were nostalgic, and beside the N64 soundtrack versions, the sounds were/are the gateway to what nostalgia filled memories i have of R2! But oh well.
I think I still have it downloaded on my iPhone 4S, if I can find the damn thing anywhere. It's really smashed up and I forgot about it for years, but I never got rid of it. I must've seen it every now and then, since I can still remember the crack pattern on the back.

Thanks! I got it installed, but it doesn't appear to save after I finish a level. My guess is that it's an issue with the app being too old (I've had similar issues with other apps when updating to iOS 8 or 9), but does anyone know a solution to the issue? My iPhone is on iOS 10.3.3 and you can't really downgrade it.
