Although this Forum is called 'Pirate Community' we aren't pirates! We aim to get the legit copy of something. I wouldn't consider that I own Rayman Compilation if you shared your disc. I would still search for my own copy!

That's my premise when I record walkthroughs and when I share my games. I do encourage people to find their own copies because it is what I do whenever I can. Only a minority of my walkthroughs games I don't happen to have an original copy, but it is all a question of honesty here.

I'm just leaving in here for that everybody can see it. You have just revealed a lot about yourself with this single statement you just wrote here. What is it I leave to the criterium of the others, but I think it is not difficult to notice. With this I won't say more. Period.

It gives me an idea but I don't know if you guys are going to agree: what if we in the Collections topic we report the number of people in the community that have got a specific game/item? I think it could be informative in terms of the level of rarity of an item.

Even though I'm not really active here, I have to say that this "discussion" just showed how pathetic some people can be, full on expecting others to pirate copyright protected software as if it's a normal thing to do, telling them they're wrong if they refuse to do it and generally acting like a kindergarden child ("in your face").

That, plus not getting the idea of how "casual collectors" think (and believe me, there are LOTS of those). They don't care if they own the real deal or just a copy, and therefore won't buy it/look into buying it, as that isn't the only way to get what they want. That in turn devalues the original disks in the process (fewer people looking for it.. supply and demand dictating the price you can get)

It's rather simple really, but some people seem to turn of the remnants of their brains as soon as someone posts something they want.

When I say stop the convo I mean it, as a mod it's my job to ensure that the topic stays on topic and doesn't drift into drama like it has done here. No matter how much time you took to send that post it doesn't change the fact you posted it regardless of me telling you to stop.

Secondly if "tings are worthless" to you i'm sure we could arrange other things.
