Sorry that's currently unfixable. Probably the next update will fix that little bug.

Re: Rayman Optimum
Hey how's it going? Listen, I just moved to the ubuntu operating system and now I would like to see Rayman Optimum become compatable to all versions of Linux. Is that even possible?
Cheers!

Re: Rayman Optimum
Yep, the next update will be compatible with linux, regardless of the OS. Anyway, I don't have ubuntu as my linux system, so an ubuntu/debian tester would be cool.

Re: Rayman Optimum
Cool Beans! Why not have me as a beta tester? I can be able to test it out and give you reports on how everything works out and what happens to make the crashes occour. That would be so boss!LoveMetal wrote:Yep, the next update will be compatible with linux, regardless of the OS. Re: Rayman Optimum
Wanted to know, what is the difference between "Vsync On" and "Vsync Host"? Why is "Vsync Host" recommended over "Vsync On"?

Re: Rayman Optimum
Don't quote me on this, but I'm assuming "Vsync On" forces Vsync to be turned on no matter what, while "Vsync Host" only turns it on if it's been enabled in the user's graphics card settings.

Re: Rayman Optimum
Will the next release have an automatic updater?
Re: Rayman Optimum
Yep it will. I'm waiting for Truner to do some graphics, so for the last month I didn't made any progress.

Gold/Designer Demo
This is great, thanks for this.
You probably already know about this but...
The Rayman Gold/Designer Demo contains 4 levels that aren't part of the complete game.
The levels are very difficult, but they're neat.
I've uploaded Opaquit's patched version here if you're interested.

However the colors look wrong, there is no music and the sound effects lag. But yeah i saw the diffirent levels, coudnt play them sadly.
Anyways could this be added to the Extras in the next release? It would be nice to have cool beta stuff like that for the Extras, along with minigames.
Re: Rayman Optimum
Those stuff should not happen. Something is wrong with your PC

How should I know that? I never saw your PC.

Re: Rayman Optimum
I think i didnt install the game correctly. But there isnt any reason for it to malfunction because of my pc. My pc is just fine.
Can you tell me how you installed the game? I may have missed some stuffs.

And here is the original unmodified package for use on authentic old Windows 9x PCs:
