For that one I guess it changes because you have a Slapdash and a Hoodoo in front of the snowboard. I guess scoring would have to stop as soon as the Slapdash is dead, or when the snowboard section starts.

I can't actually see them at all.

2.880 then... 2.850 + 30 from the Slapdash, the Hoodoo can be skipped; if you shoot towards the Slapdash, then hit the Hoodoo and then really quickly shoot at the Slapdash again, the Hoodoo won't show up in time and the Slapdash will die.

Aside from the strafing, there's an option to walk. If you use that, you can skip the last Yellow Gem in the first hallway as well. ;)

And I saw one other thing in your attempts... You most likely know this yourself, but it might be advantageous to NOT kill the Hoodblasters with a single strike, since you'll get 30 extra Points for killing enemies with one hit. Instead, just weaken them - with your way of playing, it's a difference of 150 Points in this Part.

I was aware of that.

I was not aware of this. It may also help to run at Hoodbooms, as a single hit from their own grenade kills them instantly. This works for every Hoodboom (and most Stumblebooms).

Yep, the strategy with the Hoodbooms is really helpful. Also, you can almost always let the Hoodlums shoot each other to death, or have the Hoodboom throw grenades at them. For example, in HH Part 2, the only Hoodlums I killed by myself in the first room where one Hoodflyer and the Heckler, and there's like 7 enemies in this room.

By the way, I've read your posts about TOTL and meant to tell you this for quite some time, but you can actually skip the whole level. In the first area with the many Hoodlums, you can just jump towards the upper platform, climb to the top, free the Teensie, break the Door and then finish the level. That's how I ended up with 40 Points in this Part. I'm saying this because it sounded like you went through the whole Part. :P

And while we're at TOTL, at the final Reflux Stage, it's a good strategy to simply not kill any of the Hoodlums which appear out of Reflux' back. It takes a lot of time to finish him off like this, but at least you don't get any more than 1.500 Points out of him.

I didn't use a single glitch while playing, I just grinded hard in the levels I could. I didn't even know they existed!

I didn't use a single Glitch either, because I didn't know whether they were allowed. It's just a normal jump. ;)

Take a look at MandM1981's video for this Part, and you can see how to skip the whole Part. But since you didn't know that, I'm pretty impressed by your TOTL Score.

Tower of the Leptys took longer than expected...The console I was playing on didn't do what it usually does at the start of the second part. At the top of the tower the PS2 version already has the Lockjaw can up there without having to defeat all the Hoodstormers. On the PS3 version, however, I had to beat every single one, which wasn't good. But I'll have to try that bit later.

Hi there, i found this topic recently and i think, it´s quite a interesting idea. So i tried it too. :D
Since i don´t know anything about the rules (because of different opinions), i played without using any glitches and without decreasing the end score by losing points. So here are my first scores:

FC:
after part 1: 0 points
after part 2: 10 points
after part 3: 200 points
after part 4: 530 points
after part 5: 530 points
after part 6: 1220 points

CF:
after part 1: 340 points
after part 2: 720 points
after part 3: 1190 points
after part 4: 5960 points
after part 5: 6060 points
after part 6: 8010 points

BOM:
after part 1: 1500 points
after part 2: 1660 points
after part 3: 1670 points
after part 4: 2200 points
after part 5: 3700 points
after part 6: 5200 points

LOTLD:
after part 1: 330 points
after part 2: 920 points
after part 3: 1820 points
after part 4: 3320 points
after part 5: 4620 points
after part 6: 6270 points

Of course this scores are not really close to the minimum possible score (especially if glitches would be allowed), but that was just my first try.

For a first try that's really impressive!
I'm going to be trying SBTC again soon. I really need to find out how Maz did it.

Thanks! :)
Here are also my following scores.

DOTK:
after part 1: 30 points
after part 2: 30 points
after part 3: 60 points
after part 4: 60 points
after part 5: 1550 points (I lost 4 points by accident and then 6 points by intention, in return i took in part 6 10 points by intention, so it equalized. Is that allowed? So in part 7 i did the same (i lost 10 points and then i took a yellow gem intentionally). In case it´s not allowed, please don´t update my score yet.

after part 6: 1780 points
after part 7: 3050 points
after part 8: 3050 points

LS:
after part 1: 240 points
after part 2: 540 points
after part 3: 940 points

Good luck also with SBTC. It seems now, that i have to do this level too. :D

Hmm... 0 Points is imprssive, I'll give you that, but I'm pretty sure this glidewalk isn't possible on PC, or is it? If not, we're at a serious disadvantage. :P

Actually, this particular glidewalk can be done on the PC version, so no one is at a disadvantage.

Very impressive. I guess there's no point trying for a lower score on that level.
