Where did you find rayman M's voice files?
They're just on the Rayman M disc. I don't have it with me right now, but 'Explore...' the disc (or 'Open' if on a Mac) and search through its folders. It's incredibly easy to find all the music and sound effect files. You don't even need any special codecs, I don't think.

Guys, I need your help. I had to reinstall my computer software due to an anomaly happening to my Windows OS, and now I can't play Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc for some stupid reason. Everytime I want to boot the game, the game redirects me to the Graphical Setup, and this appears:

Is the game complaining there's something wrong with my DirectX or anything? I really don't know what to do.

@ Haruka, try the following:

Open your explorer, and open the folder "Windows (C:)" (or (D:) or whatever it's called on your PC). Open the folder called "Windows", and search for another folder called "Ubisoft". There should be exactly one .ini-file. Open that one. Now you should see Transform and Lighting set to 1, a.k.a. "TnL=1". Change that to "TnL=0". Also, what system do you use? Have you tried running Rayman 3 in compability mode?

Oddly enough I only see the valours for Rayman M, and not Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc. Could this be messing up everything? I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64-bits. I also tried the compactibility mode and no avail.

Video_AutoAdjustQuality=1
Camera_VerticalAxis=-1
Camera_HorizontalAxis=2

Currently, I don't have any other Rayman-Games installed (Shame on me!), so I don't know about Rayman M, but the text above should absouletly be there when opening the "ubi.ini"-file (obviously with different parameters, but still). All the advice I can give you is to find that piece of Code SOMEWHERE (e.g. make sure you haven't just overlooked it), otherwise I have no idea as to what the problem is. Maybe you could try downgrading to DirectX 8, but that's definitely not to be recommended. Also, have you already tried to either re-install Rayman 3, or uninstall Rayman M?

I've had that problem before, with Rayman M I think. I ran the set-up standalone .exe (found in the game's installation directory) in compatibility mode to be able to open it without crashing. Then I played around with the settings until the game wouldn't crash on boot anymore, though I can't tell you exactly what I did, sorry. The compatibility mode trick is finnicky and won't always work, but it might just save the day.

Hmm, it could be due to user privileges, I know that some games will use files located in the appdata folder if not run as admin. With that in mind, try seeing if you can locate Ubi.ini here: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Windows\Ubisoft

Oh, yeah, maybe Windows doesn't automatically have read-write permissions in the installed directory. You can right click the directory and go to its properties, then see if it is marked as Read-Only. It may need to want to be read-and-write (click the checkbox to decheck it and remove Read-Only status).

You need to run that program as an Admin. Try right-clicking it, then selecting "Run as Administrator". If it works, then set it permanently by right-clicking the program, clicking "Properties", going to the "Compatibility" tab, then checking the box next to "Run as Administrator".

Thanks for your help, Maz and OCG. Both your stuff worked (since for some reason the data was not written in the Ubi.ini file). While the game was working now, the setup kept crashing. I decided to give a further investigation to the causes since before the reinstallation of the OS there were no issues with the R3 setup window. What I did was uninstalling Rayman M and Rayman 3, while making sure that the Ubi.ini was gone. I decided to install Rayman 3 in the primary hard drive where my OS is installed, and later moved to the destination I really wanted. Oddly enough the setup works now without any issues. Very wierd, but I am relieved that the problem is gone! :D

@Others Those stuff were already attempted before or already previously setup, like the User Priviledges, Compactibilities and Admnistration boots and nothing was working.

You're welcome!

By the way, I've been meaning to ask this for a while now, but is Rayman 3 HD available on PC? I'm really into Scoring at the moment, and I heard that they removed that 100k-Points-Barrier in HD. I'd like to test how much I can get if this were indeed the case, but I can't seem to find anything about a PC-Version.

There is no PC version, but the normal Rayman 3 does have a PC version that you can run in HD, despite with a scoring limit.

By modifying the ubi.ini file we were discussing earlier, change the resolution line to what you want.

I'd hazard a guess and say that it was Read-Write permission issues that caused it, then. But good, you fixed it!
