Anyway, here is the thread about all-nighters. This is a thread where people can rant about being alone during the cold, dark night that will come during the record day.

Quick reminder of an all-nighter :

Normally, an all-nighter is regarded as skipping one sleep cycle entirely, and in Record-Day terms, we could safely assume that means spending your time you use to sleep to post instead. Sleep is essentially a recreational, non-obligatory exercise we practice to retain our health, and due to its difficulty to avoid, should be rewarded in a contest like this.

Just to clarify this matter, bonus Tings will be awarded to those who stayed active during the entire record, safe for short lunch and shower breaks. Roughly, this should translate into no more than 30 minutes between two posts. Whether it's fair that those who had to leave because of unavoidable circumstances do not get this reward is an irrelevant consideration, as these bonuses reward performance, not merit. An athlete who broke their leg two days before the Olympics will not get the gold just because they could have won.
