Well, I like to check in the shops once a week, because thrift shops can put out something new at any given time. Some days you may find absolutely nothing, while some other days you may find a couple of things or a lot of things.

Well, this depends. Sometimes you can find far better deals locally than Ebay, provided item of interest is available.

If you have the money to burn, and are not willing to wait, then sure.

@Hoodcom At least for me it is often more rewardable for me to go to eBay than dealing with Portuguese sellers with used copies. It ends up cheaper even with shipping. Then there are those really rare opportunities where I find stuff that on eBay are much more expensive than in here.
