It sounds complex not too difficult. Base stats are simply stats a Pokemon would have if it had no EVs or any other stat changing effect on it. (At lvl 100 usually by default)

Edit: now that I'm thinking about pokemon again, I think its about time get back to catchin 'em all (in kalos)!


Another Edit: after about half a year I have finished Coastal Kalos... sortof. It claims I have finished it, and has given me the crown, but I have yet to register Zapdos. But in the meantime I shall proceed onto Mountain Kalos, where I currently have 104/151.

Funny I was just saying how i'd like to start IV breeding some Eeveelutions. Although (rather funnily) I have Eevee's in my Friend Safari which is a pity I can't go to. I suppose I could start trading a batch of my other IVed pokemon for some Eevees.
