Recently seen Wreck-It Ralph. Now this wasn't my first time watching it, but now having seen it again I have to say this is one of my favorite movies. I like the concept of the world within the Arcade, the characters were enjoyable, the villain was excellent, the animation and style were great, and the movie just has a good feel to it. Definitely a way better movie than the one next in the Walt Disney Feature Film line...

I watched the last spider-man.

Kinda good, but it is just a remake of the comic book.

You can make cheap jokes in French with the Saw movies' pronounciation. For example:

- Saw 6 = sausage in French.
- Saw 7 = sock with a bad pronounciation in French.

That's so dumb.

Robin Williams was found dead in his house: http://insidemovies.ew.com/2014/08/11/r ... ead-at-63/

I'm really shocked. He was such a versatile and fun actor. :(

The last movie I saw with his presence was in Night At Museum 2, where he roled as Roosevelt.

Aye, I already posted about it in the Off Topic thread. Tragic indeed.

I recently saw both Guardians of the Galaxy and The Inbetweeners 2. The former is probably my favourite Marvel movie next to Spiderman 2, with the latter being the funniest film I have ever seen in the cinema. Overall a great month for films!

I managed to find Aladdin on a free streaming site and watched it again for the first time in what feels like too many years. I was reminded why I love the Genie so much. No one could be him better than Robin Williams. In a lit of ways I tend to think the Genie was an extension of Robin himself, in that he went out of his way to make people happy and yet he was held down by some great limitation. In that sense, he WAS the Genie. The movie as a whole was a treat to watch again. The scene when the Cave of Wonders is destroying itself was even more dynamic than I remembered. The scope, the speed, the music, everything was composed just right to make the scene feel so much more intense. And of course, the animation just shines from beginning to end. It all makes me want to find the DVD and pick it up so I can own it again, as I had lost the VHS many years back.

I rewatched Flubber this afternoon, on my VHS player. I still can't believe that Robin isn't among us anymore. :(

I guess I will give it another shot soon enough, as I already watched Aladdin once again a few months ago.

The last movie I watched was called Projekt: Peacemaker. It's pretty much about east european terrorists trying to bomb the whole world with stolen russian nuclear bombs but they could get stopped by the UN or something.

Watched Flubber again. Damn, this movie is not getting old for me. Robin Williams at his best in a fun movie, and the animations used are really flawless for a movie released in 1997. I found myself very attached the character of Weebo, which almost made me cry again at the end. And the way she just flies around and messes with Brainard's planning.

Robin ...

I just watched Batman: Assault on Arkham. It's a little movie based off the Arkham game series and from what I could gather is set before the events of Arkham Asylum. It's actually a really cool animated movie, I quite enjoyed it. They got some lesser known DC villains to appear and the focus was on this team of villains, not on Batman and it worked quite well! They had some funny moments between them and some interesting ideas were put into this. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're a fan of anything Batman related.

Frozen.

I don't understand what all the hype's about, it's just not that good. Its a great movie, but not a "OMGILOVEITIMWATCHINGITALLDAY" movie.

Same. Frozen is way too overrated.

I've just seen Hot Fuzz and I loved it! It was definitely hilarious and had great material in it! All I need to watch now is The World's End.

Lucy. It's a decent movie with some really cool special effects, but I think they were trying a little too hard to make it seem like a really deep and thoughtful film and during that process forgot to put care into some other aspects: The villains were extremely generic and poorly written, and for a movie that wants to be taken so seriously it's kind of silly when apparently they asian writings on the prison wall are just random names of vegetables and fruits. But overall, it's an alrightish experience, I just don't think it should be receiving a lot of the praise it's getting.

I watched the Postman Pat movie recently as it was one of the movies they had on my plane to Florida. My god never have I seen a TV based movie that is as ridiculous as this was, but at the same time I must have laughed the whole plane off.
