Nobody said they should, Shroob just said that having five separate Princess ranks would be the same as having five different ranks for Rayman's different power-ups, and I disagreed with that comparison.

Well, then I am the fool for not knowing Legends' backstory - they all just look like Barbara (re)skins to me - and so they would to any other unknowing Rayman fan. What I'm trying to get at is that they would appear as a ton of different skins of the same character (even if they're not) and that seems unfair towards the other characters on the list, but I guess we already have that in our current ranklist in the form of the hoard of Teensies.

Regarding the goodie/baddie thing: there's a whole buckload of baddies we haven't included in the ranklist; the green flies from Rayman 1, the different types of clowns from Rayman 1, Rayman 2's Piranhas and Chenilles, a baby Jano (I'm starting to enjoy that nomenclature more than Mini-Jano), Rayman 3's Podorocks, Rayman 3's Muddibogs, all the Rabbids, tons of enemies from Origins... the list goes on - I don't see why Legends should get any sort of preference over all the other games.
However, adding a few baddies and goodies from each game respectively, that, I welcome.

Well, I'm in the Legends support because the Ranking system has none of them. I'm more than willingly to accept previous entries' enemies. Also, the Nymphs are just skins too, why do they get the Rank privilege, huh?! HUH!

The nymphs are skins? That doesn't make sense to me. That's like saying the four Kings are skins of each other too - but I am most probably without knowledge contradicting my own standpoint here because of my ignorance on Legends.

Nymphs have the same body structure and have the same ability; giving the heroes their powers but all differ in design. This can go the same way with Barbara and all her sisters. I'm trying to be reasonable and say: Yes, having all 10 princesses will be an overkill but having the 5 Light versions seems like a good idea. Yeah, thee Princesses do the same thing but at least their designs differ tremendously from one another (but not the Dark versions since they use the same colors). And now thinking, there are definitely more potential Baddie ranks than Goodie ranks.

Change it to this:

Rayman 1 ranks
Rayman 2 ranks
Rayman 3 ranks
Rayman Origins ranks
Rayman Legends ranks.

SORTED? - So you just work your way through those ranks, and you just choose which game series you want!

Yeah but surely my suggestion sorts all the problems? There's no good & bad ranks, you just work through the same 50 ranks or w/e but only from a choice of one from each of the main game series.

I think that's potentially a much better way of doing it! I'm sure it could be coded somehow!

I say no to that roles, sorry. The variety is what makes the ranklist so fun. I don't want to default to Rayman 2 characters (because I would) - I like accidentally ending up with, for example, Big Mama or Mr. Dark. Also, the goodies/baddies distinction is far less polarising than a game specific distinction would be. On top of that, we'd need to create 400 new ranks and I'm pretty sure nobody's feeling like that kind of labour right now.

You mean how Brad and I discuss our own/the ranklist's ranks? Basically our view on the images themselves changes over time, where at first I thought all of the images on the previous ranklist were done and dealt with, now I see where there could be improvements to make the image on the rank itself stand out more/be more recognisable. I think Brad was commenting on the disatisfaction in his own work with the Magician rank - there's a lot more flaws to be spotted in one's own work than in that of another.

I was talking about the way to create a rank: template, image conditions, constraints, and shit. No dilemma into that. I guess the rules have already been established long ago.

But right now I'm doing something else, so I do'nt know if I am able to put some effort and time into ranks.

Shroob, you wouldn't have choices bewteen good & bad on the game ranks list It would be a straight line! I'll make a mock-up thing some time to demonstrate it, I might even make a poll! I think it's a super cool idea!

Nope. I might occasionally 'show your posts' or whatever to double-check old posts/for nostalgia's sake. 'View your posts' is a pain.
