Oh, so they're more like chapters in a larger story? Hm, then it's not as appropriate, maybe. But go ahead, the topic hasn't seen any action in a while.

In fact, if one day I am able to write all what I thought of, I could make at least three or four books out of it. But I'm still missing a lot of parts and I need to dig some concepts a bit more to make them relevant. Also, this story mixes many genres, from spy/investigation stories to fantasy/fantastic, and even science-fiction if I manage to reach a certain part, which won't be before a VERY long time.

So yeah, right now I've written the prologue and first chapter of the first book, plus one chapter happening way after in the second one (kinda) but that I love a lot.
I also started writing the story of one my five main characters, which is what I plan to do right now: explain the story for each one of them, or at least four of them.

Prepared to be overwhelmed by walls of doom n' shit. I also guess this is the right time for this, as I have been too personal about all these chapters for too long: right now, only two people have been able to read the first two ones, and my girlfriend is the only one who has had access to the two others. It's a favor, guys.

But, well, let's say I like this place

Uh-huh, cool. If you ever write any actual short stories though (one-off one-chapter smallish things), be sure to post them. ;D

Of course, I generally tend to think the same. But it's fun to write a small story that's only consistent with itself, too. You don't need to invest much time, you can just write a few paragraphs and have a little bit of a character development before the story ends. Or it can be used to write a short humorous piece like the one I linked to in the very first page of the topic.

Okay, acknowledged.

- Some stats take time to be gathered.
+ I have even more content than intended.

Now I need to write all what I will say for them in the movie, so I can register a long record in one shot, and repeat myself if necessary.

Adsolution wrote: It actually reminds me of three notable occurrences in that school in grade 7:

> The class 'president' had 20 dollars stolen from her backpack, and the teacher made a big announcement about it; she eventually got all her money back from people 'donating' to her. A month later, I brought fifty dollars for a field trip, it was all stolen from my backpack, and my backpack was also chocked full of pencil shavings. I told the teacher, and he didn't do a thing.

> During a camping trip, we were all watching a movie, and when one kid started poking at me then did some attempted eye-gouge, the teacher thought I was causing the problem and banned me from all future social events at the camp.

> After I finished my year-end art project, when they were finally put on display, someone else's name was put on mine. When I told the office, they did nothing, and I got crap for 'not having done a project'.
Whoa, Jesus Christ, that's fucked up stuff. Especially the second one, I hate teachers who just hand out punishments based on way too quick judgement, and then refuse to listen because they're either too proud of their title that puts them above you, or they know they're wrong but they don't wanna hear it. But really though, a ban over some poking?

School I go to now is a bit better than where I went previously, I just hate how extremely disorganised it is and how poor the service is, even to the point where what's supposedly the best quality counselor that works at five or six different schools often didn't show up and when he did our chats were always really rushed. But I'm pretty sure I've already ranted about that here, but here's the nonsense my previous school district spit out:

> 5th grade English teacher obviously strongly disliked me. Spend the entire school year always finding ways to make me look like an idiot in front of the whole class and numerous times told me off for things I didn't do or were just straight up pathetic like "assuming i was the leader" during a group project and using that excuse to justify him getting angry at me for anything the other people in the group were doing. He also paused a class discussion to, in front of other people, talk about how dumb I was and how likely I was to to fail in my later life because I didn't get a good grade on a worksheet. (And I was only one question away from getting a B on it, and seeing how it was about spelling, I'd say that's more than good enough for someone who back only learned to read in English about a half year ago) He went on to spend the next half of class discussing how my grades like mine weren't good enough (I was passing the class with an A and won an award at the end of the year) and it was important people worked harder than that.

> A teacher yelled at me for "looking at her with a rude expression" and after minutes of ranting about how I was promoting "disrespectful behaviour" inside the school building, I overhear her 10 minutes later telling another teacher some hugely exaggerated version of what happened in which she said some real nasty shit about me, and that was being said to one of my teachers I actually really liked.

> This one actually happened to my brother: A guy starts suddenly hitting someone, so my brother runs in to defend him, during which he got hit pretty badly by some sharp point of a jacket. My brother gets send to the principle's office where he gets yelled at for being violent and how "defending other people" was no excuse for it, which quite literally means he should have just let it all happen. They then give him two eight hour detentions to be done on Friday and Saturday night. Our parents showed up to talk about it, and apparently he acted extremely discriminating to them, pounding his fist on the table and shouting at them because they refused to enter a debate about how my parents didn't understand his ways of doing because unlike him, they weren't a proud and patriotic American, and people who come from small, unimportant European countries are on a lower level. After an hour of arguing he only took the saturday detention away, and whether the other guy who was actually the one causing the violence ever got a detention or anything at all was never answered.

Congratulations :D.

@Keane: Don't forget that teachers are humans too. And like any other people, they can have very bad periods in their life. You can't ask somebody to be perfect, even if he's teaching important subjects to tomorrow's people. Yes, yes, I know it's hard to make the difference in that case, and some teachers are definitely not into pedagogy. Does it mean they are bad? I can tell you that because my father is a math teacher in secondary school, which is pretty much the worst place ever to teach, as kids enter their teenage period and are more unreliable here than anywhere else. Still, there are some days where he come back home angry and/or sad, and I can't tell everytime if it's kids' fault or his. But most of the time I have a pretty good idea.

Yep, sometimes teachers are idiots, but sometimes they are like you and me. You being the focus at that particular moment, sure you will take it for yourself. Sure it will always seem exagerrated each time somebody is talking about your "bad" behaviour. And yes, that's annoying. I've met that too. But at some point, just don't forget to move on.

Anyway, don't forget too that it is not the topic for this  . But according to your post in the Daily doldrums thread, it's already classified...

Now back on plus and minus!

+ Finished to record/rework my voice for the awesome stats part in RECORD-ED DAY.
- Even if I cut some parts, it's 7 minutes long. And I'll have to place images to fill all that place. Damn...
+ Finished to analyze the 24 hours of footage. Yeah baby!
- Now I have to cut everything I want in it. Hell rains down upon me...
+ When it's done, two parts will be completed at the same time, and rest will mainly be video-editing. Not bad in less than two weeks. Meh, I don't have a lot of things to do for the last two weeks of my internship...for now.

Haha, yeah, video editing is a bitch. I'll get to recording my commentary when I've collected my thoughts on what I want to say exactly (I'm not as fluent speaking as I am writing, for some odd reason).

+ Walked up and down Burnaby Mountain today.
- Forgot to put on my hiking shoes and ended up going down the trails in sneakers.

Sorry? I mean to say I don't gather my words as easily through my mouth as I do through my pen (or in this case, the keyboard).

Regardless, yes, I'd like to do some commentaries with you - we were planning something League-ish, right? :D

+ In good time, too. I'll be back home soon, ready to bring all these concepts to life!
