Ubisoft stops PS3/360 developpement on 2015
That's it, they're going on next-gen, so I guess probably RIP Rayman 4 on ps3/360 and I won't buy next-gen consoles just for dis game

Meh, it sounds somewhat reasonable, but I'd like to see a source for this.
Re: Ubisoft stops PS3/360 developpement on 2015
I won't be able to run Rayman 4 in 3D, it'll probably asks a lot of power to be run in a normal graphics (like PS3)

Meh, I wouldn't put yourself down just yet, Rayman games don't usually demand the forefront of gaming technology. I'd be more concerned over something like Beyond Good and Evil 2, given how much amping up it's gotten.

Wasn't BG&E2 only on Next-Gen consoles?

Good, it annoys the hell out of me when people develop for old hardware.

That reminds me of the guy at my school that thought Microsoft should make it so that Xbox One games play on the 360. Yeah, developing for old hardware is useless when you have better readily available.

I get where you're coming from - I don't have an XBone myself, and would be sad to see my favourites game titles pass me by, but think of it this way: would you like to cripple the developers by forcing them to adapt their game to old hardware, as opposed to seeing how far they can push the limits on the new ones?WeshKanapesh wrote:and for peoples who don't have enough money to buy new hardawaresAdsolution wrote:Good, it annoys the hell out of me when people develop for old hardware.

Of course not, but some peoples are really weird being annoyed for this

I recall there being a bit of a fuss when Arkham Knight was announced as next-gen exclusive, though from what I've seen it seems to use that extra power immensely, so I guess it's justified.

This is something you'll use every day as one of your primary sources of entertainment for the next 5-6 years. $400 for that is so cheap. Rent for a shithole place costs at least twice or thrice that per-month.WeshKanapesh wrote:and for peoples who don't have enough money to buy new hardawaresAdsolution wrote:Good, it annoys the hell out of me when people develop for old hardware.
Re: Ubisoft stops PS3/360 developpement on 2015
How dare developers force me to get new things!
Re: Ubisoft stops PS3/360 developpement on 2015
Provided you are allowed to play every day. When I was a teenager, my parents were very restrictive about video games: I could only play some 2 or 3 hours per week, which made buying any kind of console, although not really expensive, not worth it in my situation.Adsolution wrote:This is something you'll use every day as one of your primary sources of entertainment for the next 5-6 years. $400 for that is so cheap.
Re: Ubisoft stops PS3/360 developpement on 2015
As long they still port Rayman games for PC, I don't really care if they aren't developing for PS3 anymore.
Re: Ubisoft stops PS3/360 developpement on 2015
ALWAYS do ports for PCs. Screw consoles outside of Multiplayer modes!Haruka wrote:As long they still port Rayman games for PC, I don't really care if they aren't developing for PS3 anymore.
