I don't care what people do for charity as long as they're not hurting themselves or anyone else, and this ice bucket challenge seems pretty safe if you don't do something stupid.

Assuming you're talking about the Ice Bucket Challenge, wtf? Pouring cold water on your head for a split second barely even passes off as a challenge. It's not humiliating at all as far as these sorts of things go (it doesn't even require any special effort or skill), and it does no harm to your body. In fact, I think that's why it's so popular, it's something amusing that everyone can take part in without the fear of being embarrassed; everybody gets wet all the time, they go swimming, they take showers and baths, they walk around in pouring rain. Calling something so completely harmless 'bodily abuse' is what's ridiculous and unnecessary.

Agreed, and it's an even more dislikable sentiment when you look at it from a logical perspective: telling people to not do something for a good cause because it's a minor inconvenience. That's a very selfish and somewhat snotty attitude.

Speaking of which, Adslutino, I nominate you for the Ice Bucket Challenge. :P

+ Started changing my habits. I've attempted to change my habits a couple times before, but now I'm dedicated. I can feel myself on the verge of no return, and I'm not letting that happen.

+ I got a Galaxy S5, I fuckin' love the slow motion video feature!

+ My friend invited me and another bandmate to his aunt's cabin on Bowen Island, and it''s awesome. We were writing music on a beach clif, then we sat and played/sang on top of a lighthouse just off shore, and I came up with a nice prechorus to one of their songs.

- His aunt became delusional tonight and started wimpering and saying things or vocalisations that made absolutely no sense, sometimes screaming and fidgeting. It was almost like she was incredibly high or downright insane, and then when my friend asked her what was going on, she said "I'm crying and you accuse me of being high?! I'm in pain!!" She then started rolling on the couch, saying more totally nonsensical words, then went upstairs to go to sleep. Sure enough in the middle of the night, we're woken up by her making really weird, loud vocalisations, yelps and talking about my friend's dad. We go up there to check, and she's insisting that she isn't making any noise. There's no emergency on the island, so we need to wait until day to get her to a doctor.

Like really, she's downright insane at the moment, acting like one of those batshit mental patients you see locked up in chains. We aren't really sure what to do for now, but we think it could be her spinal medication.

Jeez! I hope she'll be okay. I'd be really scared if I were to witness that happening to someone.

- Going through lectures for my online science class. I think I might actually take notes because I failed an optional quiz just for trying to go back and refresh my memory on the material.

Holy fuck, hope it's nothing too serious.

+/- Had my first day of school today, and liked three of my four A day classes. I don't wanna call the class I didn't like bad, but the teacher seemed like the kind of person who's going to end up in an argument with me very quickly. I'm also a little disappointed that the class description seems to be nothing like the class itself, as I tried to avoid sports and focus on exercise, yet he spend the majority of the class discussing sports. But besides that class, everything was pretty alright, and I felt a little less anxious today than I had expected, which was also a very pleasant surprise. Now here's to hoping my B day classes are also good.

- I missed my bus. Apparently I did enter the correct one at first, but when I asked if I was entering the correct one the lady told me it wasn't, so I guess I'll have to come back to her tomorrow. Unfortunately, it took well over an hour to get home.

+ I finished the Harry Potter books today, and the ending was tons more satisfying than the movie. I've always kind of disliked the movie scene where Harry meets Dumledore after having been supposedly killed, because Harry's doubts about him were never really resolved and instead Harry was just left with a lot of his questions still unanswered. The book handled this scene way better.

+ I'm extremely glad that we're getting a three day weekend, good thing to focus on whenever I suddenly realise I'm gonna be doing this five days a week for 179 more days. :P

+ She's sick, but stable now.

- The downside to all this islanding is that I've got so many fucking mosquito bites I can't even sleep, their itch woke me up at 5:30.
