Despite a the fact LBP3 will be coming out soon, and I still have to get The Last Of Us Remastered...I think I'm gonna just stick with Nintendo gaming for a while. They are just exciting me way more and it's nice that there is a lot of inter-compatibility on their stuff, especially the two Smash Bros and Amiibo.
I don't believe Nintendo is going to remove the region lock on the 3DS but there is a way to bypass the region lockout with the Gateway 3DS card. Sadly it will work only on non updated 3DSs.
Back to pictochat, isn't there a way to get like into the old Nintendo DS firmware using a R4 flashcard or something?
@Omar
Maybe, Nintendo opened their eyes and saw huge demand. I guess only time will tell.
I don't care about Gateway since those bastards made their product bad on purpose. One guy tried to mod Gateway 3DS to make 3DS play official cartridges from other regions and while it worked, some people got 3DS's bricked and Gateway creator admited he made his carts can brick 3DS consoles if others try to modify Gateway cartridges in any way
I really don't know, I only use flashcard on regular DS which already has Pictochat anyways
Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, and the recently released (Which I may buy today), Azure Striker Gunvolt.
One thing I really hope to see in the future of videogames is a price drop for console games. I'm alright with paying $40 for a handheld game, but $60 for a console game at launch? God fucking damn it.
One thing I really hope to see in the future of videogames is a decent store in my current town that gets new games day one when they are released (and that gets new games at all) and has prices like rest of the world does so I can take a break from importing all the time but chances of that happening are less than Nintendo making region free update for their consoles
I'm getting pretty sick of retail prices for new releases in the UK; the majority of PS4 and games retail at like £45 - £50 which is like the equivalent of $75 -$80. Wii U games aren't usually as bad, though 3D World has been like £45 in GAME for ages!
Nintendo could be much more competitive against Sony if they were lowing down prices of games after a decent period of time, like it happens here with PlayStation games. Nintendo never changes prices here, and it is an absurd to pay 50 or 60 € for a 5 year old Wii game in spite of its high quality. It is not justifiable with the alternative places you can find online (ebay for example) nowadays.
Yeah, you're right. I mean, NSMBW is still like $50 over here, well the last time I checked. Nintendo should really cut down some of its game prices on say maybe year and half old games? Just a suggestion.

Well it's not necessarily the higher ups/developer's fault. Club Nintendo would have it's own people running it.
Club Nintendo is known to have some bullshit systems. Apparently they don't even ship to Ireland anymore, so all of my Club Nintendo points I saved up are completely useless. I'm also worried about not being able to get that Smash Bros soundtrack. I was able to partake in the MK8 promotion though, since it's digital.
