Sorry for the late reply, it was not to avoid the question but I really did not see it since it was during record day and I guess I was posting in other topics.
To answer the question, I guess it is just shyness considering I was never diagnosed and I do not have panic attacks or similar stuff. To make it clear, if a mask was taken off me, I would not go "insane" or anything like that but would probably remain quiet and looking down most of the time.

Anyways, the reason why I visited this topic to bump it is because I was wondering what if all people that come show up with Rayman Hoodies?

I'm just going to point out that while a mask would make you feel more comfortable, it would probably make everyone else more uncomfortable.

I'd personally rather not talk to an expressionless void, you might as well not even be there in person if I can't see your face. It would be closer to having a phone conversation than actually speaking to your face.

Well maybe not quite that bad for me, but I'm sure it would be for some others.

The mask would be cool at a masked ball (duh) but in plain, ordinary life it's just weird. It keeps people talking to you wondering in the back of their mind "Why are you hiding your face from me?"

It may also be perceived as arrogance. Others are not worthy enough to be looking upon your grand visage.

Unless you're doing a Phantom cosplay. Phantom cosplays are A-OK.


And hey, you're fine showing us your face in your videos, why not in person? Then stare at the floor a lot until you're more comfortable with us. That's fine with me, as would it be with a lot of others. I'm sure you'll be far, far, far more accepted/welcome in a conversation where you're staring at the floor than one where you hide your face.
