Re: Rayman 2
Mehh, I've never been very fond of most of R2's bosses, they're interesting set-ups, but as battles, they seem a bit...thin, I guess.
Re: Rayman 2
Crash Bandicoot's boss battles are less varied than Rayman's XD.

Totally agree with the praise for Stone and Fire. The moment when you fall down into Umber's chamber with the purple lum is one of my favourites in all of gaming. (Disclaimer: I don't game much.

Re: Rayman 2
The bosses were very intimidating but very easy to defeat.

Re: Rayman 2
Hi guys,
I bought Rayman 2 (PSX) for £2.00 which is around $3.27 at a car boot sale. I'm in the UK and i've never actually seen the casing and packaging of R2 on PS1, only the box-art. I was just wondering if the US version is different in anyway or if its the same? Is the japanese one different too? (besides the colour of rayman and various characters) ... There are some pictures in the links below:

edit: sorry its on Google Drive. I have a Google Nexus 5 phone, it's the easiest way to upload stuff for me!
thanks :3

The US cover is different indeed, and it looks like this:

Now for the Japanese, the PlayStation 1 version was never released.

Re: Rayman 2
I like how you settled on the 'Free Beach Ball' image choice there!
Re: Rayman 2
It was the edition with the gift inside.
Which I never saw an examplar of by the way.

Re: Rayman 2
Ah yes, I remember that cover, one of my favourite artworks for Rayman 2.
Re: Rayman 2
One of my favourites is the European RR cover. I think its simplicity is the key, and the tones of black and blue, with Rayman giving the contrast.

Re: Rayman 2
Japanese RR cover is best for me. I love how Rayman and Razorbeard are staring at eachother. I do think it would be better if background was darker a bit.

Re: Rayman 2
The Japanese Revolution cover is a mess. The baby blue in the background is ugly as hell, but I do like that Razorbeard render I've never seen before.
Re: Rayman 2
What the fuck was Razorbeard anyways? I know he's an alien robot (or was he just an alien or just a robot?), but his mouth was always peculiar to me. Like, is the beard his mouth or it could be taken off and reveal whatever was under it?
