< is now listening to Rusty Halo.
Re: The You Game!
Best song ever. If < had to choose a specific song for <'s main character in <'s main fiction, it would be this one.
Re: The You Game!
< just played Destiny for like 12 hours straight.

Re: The You Game!
For attempting to sound like less of an asshole than < might have in the pluses and minuses thread, let < rephrase what < said there:
The people of Holland have rode on and learned from the seas for centuries and it has also shaped them to their likeness: they are harsh and unforgiving, but majestic and sometimes, quite beautiful. They leave nothing up to the whimsies of the Fates but rather take matters into their own hands. And sometimes, they go too far in that.
But < is of the Sun. < enjoys bright, spirited people that aren't as eratic as the seas.
< is calm in nature and the seas have a tendency to bellow up and turn on you. < is, perhaps, simply incompatible.
That's all <'ll say on the matter, at risk of boring you all to death with <'s fatigue of this country.

< does find some of the engineering in Apple products to be quite impressive, such as the Mac Pro's tiny dustbin shape. That being said, < has always preferred functionality over form, and as pretty as Apple products are, if < can find a better specced product for less, < will go for that.

<'s knees were itching so < scratched them, but then < noticed lots of strange looking lumps on <'s knees and now they are still itchy and are stinging.
Re: The You Game!
< still prefers Mac over Windows by a mile, and iOS over Android, but the problem is that nothing's really changed in 3 or 4 years. Apple used to innovate, and everyone else would be playing catch up, now it seems they've lost that ability, and all they do is add more power, make stuff thinner, and in this case integrate what is in my opinion one of the worst features of rival phones - a bigger screen.

Re: The You Game!
< concurs. < noticed that immediately after Steve Jobs' passing, iOS 7 news started showing up. Oh how < hates the company's new direction with iOS 7, oh how < hates the new look of Yosemite, oh how < hates their new naming scheme that ditched the charming 'feline to larger feline' progression. < understands wanting to take the company in a new direction, but this isn't a new direction, it's literally converging with the direction other companies have decided to take. < personally doesn't like the 'flat OS' look that nearly every major UI (bar Android's) has started using, and while the iOS flat look is probably <'s favourite out of all the flat looks, the fact that they've jumped on every other bandwagon so quickly shows that they're not thinking for themselves like they used to.Shrooblord wrote:< thinks when Apple lost its creative mind, it lost its... well, creativity.
On the note of the iPhone 6, giving a larger screen option < actually didn't mind. One of the reasons < moved away from using an iPhone was because of how small the screens were. It all depends on what you use it for, but providing options and customisation < thinks is great. < can't stand it when companies go for the "make the ultimate design where one supposedly fits all, and strip all customisation abilities" thing, it's dumb and it doesn't ever work - < is looking at you, Windows 8.
Re: The You Game!
The lumps on <'s knees are now just red marks and they don't itch so much any more. < thinks it might have just been a rash from the grass of <'s school's oval, as <'s school had the athletics carnival the previous day and <'s had to kneel on the grass a few times with <'s knees exposed. < got pricked on the knees by grass thorns.emshomar wrote:< is... eehhm yeah... < is amazed by ^.THEdragon wrote:<'s knees were itching so < scratched them, but then < noticed lots of strange looking lumps on <'s knees and now they are still itchy and are stinging.
