Maybe you should try reading the posts here a little bit. No, Rayman has not been confirmed. He's only in trophy form. I would love to see Rayman as much as the next guy in the game but I hate how people are saying it's a massive dealbreaker for them that Rayman won't be in the game.

As someone who's gonna be maining Mega Man specifically on 3DS (I'll be focusing more on Rosalina on Wii U), this doesn't make him OP. If anything, it's just offsetting the fact that comboing as Mega Man is really difficult, since the ideal way to play him is by switching between mid-range and close range combat. He's near impossible to combo at low percents since the technique works on any move with weak hitstun, but he can't combo very well himself.
And since there is a delay between when you use Rush Coil and being able to attack again, you are left open after using this technique, and falling down to your opponent is one of the most vulnerable positions in Smash. So Mega Man players will still have to put in some work to make good use of Rush Cancelling, it's no "get out of jail free" card.

I really think it's too early to be calling OP right now, since the demo has only 5 characters. That's a very limited number of match-ups.
Over the course of people's extended playtime with the game from a variety of different events, the best characters so far seem to be Mario, Bowser, Rosalina (though only in the right hands, she's the antithesis of what a Smash character should be...in the best way possible ), Zero Suit Samus, Kirby, and Sonic. They just seem to have favourable match-ups and have a lot of strengths. And they seem to have few weaknesses right now.
Man I really wish I was that good at doing Smash combos... I can only perform combos in games like Street Fighter and Tekken where combos are practically essential. On release of this game though I'll sure as hell be practicing a lot with combos.

confirmed as a trophy what does it mean!!? that is, what's the difference between being announced in the game and being announced as simple trophy!? does not make sense, it's just a way to not answer clearly at questions.
Second, where is the official source that declares and confirms officially that Rayman will be present even only as a trophy?

Even if I'm not a fan of SSB, I hate when people are spamming forums and creating new topics because they are not able to read just a few pages. I followed the conversation as I was interested by the subject, but creating three accounts in 10 minutes for your first appearence in a forum is a good evidence that you are not here to talk about the matter at all.
I am not against new people, but you just look like an annoyance to me, if you ever happen to read this. If you are surprised that here people are not "that" hyped about Rayman and SSB, then you probably do not belong here.
I'd love to see Rayman playable but as said before I'm hating how a lot of people are like "Have my [insert favorite character] here, or I'm boycotting!"
Give me a fucking break, just because one character we want to be in the game isn't there isn't a dealbreaker.
Just imagine listening to this while playing in a rayman themed stage.... and I know, there are sooo many other perfect songs that could be included too.... We got the trophy, STOP TEASING US.... and give us a Rayman DLC pack or something..
