Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Step 1: Learn attack basics in Smash univarse
Step 2: Master the character
Step 3: Cleverly use shield to block and to throw opponents off the stage and make sure to know when to attack who.
Step 4: Give them FINAL SMASH!!! That will show them.
Although I must admit this demo is bad for beginners since they don't let stock setting.

Hmm, given the distributive nature of the Demo, it seems more for enthusiasts then newbies.

How's those level 9 cpu's? OH WAIT.Imco97 wrote:To me it just seems quite random button mashing, I just don't get the point of the game :')
Oh, and I'm like really bad at it, but that might be because of the stuff appointed above.
Perhaps, someday, if someone would teach me...
No, play without items, far better for practice. When I obtain the game I can guarantee you I'll be playing without items a lot more than with them.Oldclassicgamer wrote:Step 4: Give them FINAL SMASH!!! That will show them

Well, for now, I guess I'll just stick with the Smash Bros music
Re: Official Nintendo Topic
I like items though. They add randomness.

And I like Instruments, Smash Bros. Instruments

Anyway, maybe I'll give it another go later tonight, though I must say: I'm not really motivated

Got my hands on Hyrule Warriors today. It's really good. Just got off playing it for over 7 hours straight.
They also announced DLC plans for it already, and it's getting tons of DLC for all of the months through to February (except for December). You can already pre-order all of the DLC for €14.99. This game seems like it will have a lot of longevity.

Ahah, it's one of the most skill-based and least button-mashy games around, you just gotta know what you're doing.Imco97 wrote:To me it just seems quite random button mashing, I just don't get the point of the game :')

I am far from Smash Bros expert but I enjoy games still.Imco97 wrote:That's the problem. Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Ugh the game just came out and I still have yet to pre-purchase the MK8 DLC, fucking hell Nintendo.
It turns out I might get the game even later from initial launch due to Amazon services, fuck.

To be honest out of all the fighting games I've played, Smash Bros has always been the most easy to jump into. It doesn't have wacky huge complex combo chains like Street Fighter or Marvel Vs Capcom.Oldclassicgamer wrote:I am far from Smash Bros expert but I enjoy games still.

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Just beat the Legend Mode (Story) in Hyrule Warriors.
And after seeing some of the content I unlocked and adding up all of the stuff there is to do in the game, I can safely say this game is a completionist's nightmare. So much stuff you have to do.
And that's not even factoring in the DLC...

Re: Official Nintendo Topic
Spent today in the game's Adventure Mode, which I'm really enjoying. Some really interesting challenges in it. Gets pretty tough though.
