Re: Rayman 3
How exactly does it crash? Do any error messages appear or does the game just close?

Re: Rayman 3
It runs through the intro UbiSoft screen, and then gives me the typical "Rayman 3 has stopped working" dialogue thereafter.
Re: Rayman 3
Only thing I can suggest is to try fiddling around with the compatibility settings on Rayman3.exe. I've heard of this before, but I've never seen a solution.

Re: Rayman 3
Hmm, I think that one solution you posted earlier seems to have blanket fixed everything, got it running 1080p now.
I can see it shares a similar problem to R2 when it comes to FPS fluctuating, but I'll deal with for now.

Ah yes, sorry, was busy trying to sort meself out. Congrats on surpassing 460K, Roles! I see I've got some catching up to do, though it might be some time before I'm able to put myself to it.

Re: Rayman 3
Thanks very much Master, I was quite impressed with myself to have over-taken your score! Although it did take quite a bit of time & dedication! Well I say this every time, but I really do think I'm running out of scoring talent!! hahahaMaster wrote:Ah yes, sorry, was busy trying to sort meself out. Congrats on surpassing 460K, Roles! Hmm, I think Xenon still holds top hat on our side.

I'm the people's champion.
Re: Rayman 3
Congratulations on getting 460k, that was quite fast!
Competition among the german players is tight, I think I'm only 4th in the national ranking at the moment.

Dammit roles, you were way the hell behind me, and now you're all the way up there.rolesfamily wrote:I'm the people's champion.
The solution, therefore, is murder.

Re: Rayman 3
Hmm, I've been trying to fine-tune Rayman 3 since Ribshark's helped me in getting it to run at 1080p, but I'm wondering if I can use anti-aliasing on it, also, Windows is insisting it disable scaling at high DPI for the game, not sure if it's doing me any favours, but I'll let it be known.

Re: Rayman 3
You can force AA on for it in the nVidia/AMD control panel. It even works for Rayman 2.

In comes the hipster boy who never had any nVidia control panel with any of his computers so far.

Re: Rayman 3
Hmm, I've done so, but I still seem to be getting visible jaggies.
Re: Rayman 3
So I've heard that some debug text reading "Salle 01" can appear in the demo, but I've never heard of it in the main game before.

Still not sure what it means though.
For those interested, I used the PCM glitch at the start of this level, then went into the yes/no screen in the rock carrying section, and the text appeared.
EDIT: When I exited PCM, the cutscene bars were still there. Pressing the "ENTER" button toggled on and off the text. Pressing enter during the flying section at the start of the game stops Murfy from moving. Seems like the enter button is used for debugging... I wonder what else there is that it can do.

Re: Rayman 3
Salle 01 was probably used in demo as debug reference.
