< has been having trouble with the Smite launcher. Hi-Rez really needs to fix their launcher, because upon downloading the latest patch <'s Smite completely bugged out and forced < to reinstall it. Afterwards, it decided it needed to 'Repair' something or other which was going to take an excruciatingly long time. < gave up and is re-downloading it altogether. From what < has read, this is a fairly common issue dating back to nearly a year ago. :/

< hasn't used VirtualBox, just VMWare.

< Does like it though, but < did have trouble trying to find the right drivers for Windows 95 in VMWare for the audio capabilities.

< finds VMWare is the only way to play Rayman Origins without dual-booting. VBox is too unstable, Wine has missing sprites.
< is a bit upset that the graphics performance of VMWare slowly degrades on open-source drivers, and wonders if it's based on true technical issues, or cronyism. (Just kidding)

< never realised that one couldn't make desktop shortcuts for Modern UI Apps in Win 8.1, < was able to do it in the WinX Preview, however. Hopefully that change remains.
