Re: Rayman 1
Ohhh, that's what Dragon was referring to.
Re: Rayman 1
Ehr, we are all talking about the same sound effect here, right? But yeah, I can't recall where in the game that one came from, but it has appeared a few times during my corruptions. One time it would play whenever Rayman threw his fist in the Moskito flying level.

That's a beautiful drawing, do we know who made it? It sounds like it was concept art we've never seen before, which is interesting!

When I look at the drawing, I feel delighted. It's very beautiful indeed.
The host of the FB page must be cleaning the vaults and then found this gem.

I hope that's from the History of Rayman book and that there's plenty more where that came from!

Re: Rayman 1
It certainly was done by those who worked at Ubisoft during the process of Rayman 1. I don't realy remember the original artist's name, but it was drawn by a Ubisoft employee.Master wrote:Whoa, that's an amazing piece of artwork indeed! Any idea who drew it?

That is so beautiful! Renews my appreciation for this particular game somewhat.

But yes, I do remember seeing this one (In low res) in an interview with Michel Ancel somewhere on YouTube.

The book should arrive very soon. I haven't received it yet, and I will probably be one of the first to receive it as I'm living in France. I will keep you updated about the thing...
EDIT: Nevermind, Fnac announced it for the 24th. shiet shiet shiet.

Re: Rayman 1
It was supposed to be out in September, you know!
Re: Rayman 1
Haha! Hm, I'll have to see about getting a copy maybe. But then again, with DHMIS 3 coming out at pretty much the same time as the book, I might have moved onto that by then.

Re: Rayman 1
This is how Rayman 1 would really have looked in 3D, more so than Guillaume Bonamy's accurate but literal recreations. I particularly like how it's not just Anguish Lagoon – you can see elements of many other parts of the game if you look closely, like the pink plants and the curving hilltops. Maybe this is where some of them began. Pity those translucent flying jellyfish didn't make it.
Re: Rayman 1
Oh right, the picture did appear before in an interview, I didn't remember already.
It makes me wonder when the books are gonna be shipped. We are almost in the middle of the month and PixNLove's site still says "Pre-Order". Are they gonna be shipped in Halloween?
