Umm you should get onto playing more of them Roles, they're very good games. I recommend Ratchet Gladiator/Deadlocked, although that's just personal preference.

Re: Alphabetical Conversation
Well, I've been Ninja'd.
Vendettas are caused by Quark's own arrogance, in normal circumstances he's not really in charge of anything, he's pretty much an intergalactic celebrity, who often takes credit for actions done by real heroes. He's been in positions of power, such as being in charge of the defenses on Metropolis in Tools of Destruction, and in the time between Crack in Time and All 4 One, where he becomes President of the Polaris Galaxy. That being said, his "Captain" title doesn't really signify an official rank, he began as an independent hero with that title.
Quark's a bit like Luigi in that he can be heroic if pushed far enough, but he usually tends to be a coward. Unlike Luigi, he's also a bit of a dimwit and quite vain. He has developed over the series, in the first game he's far more narcissistic and even villainous, but by the end of the original trilogy, he's a narcissist who'd fall on the right side, if he doesn't leg it. And he does show that he does care under all his bravado.
As for recommended games, Deadlock/Gladiator is a bit like Rayman M in my eyes, it focuses on particular aspects of the classic formula, but not the whole experience. It's a fun game, and unlike Rayman M, it comes with its own story, but it's not the traditional Ratchet and Clank experience. My personal favourite in the series is a Crack in Time, it brought a wonderful and satisfying end to the R&C Future trilogy, and it's quite emotional for an R&C game.
