It would be interesting to exist a way to modify a language file for matters of translation to other languages.

I found the video hilarious, somehow.

Now that I see it is possible, maybe I should consider giving it a look. I would like to create a Portuguese translation of the game.

As you can see in the video, though, it may be hard seeing how you might get words that roll off the end of the screen instead of wrapping around onto the next line.
Hey, maybe that's what the
/OX00:
lines are used for, where X seems to be either 2, 4 or 8. They're line breakers with the amount of space (in pixels?) to linebreak. They're some sort of formatting, surely.

So I was checking Rayman 3D (which requires a gateway to be extracted), and I saw this in text file:

3D is a port of the Dreamcast version, right? How does it compare in relation to that?

I would think these texts are exactly the same as in the Dreamcast version. As for what the cheat codes are:
"Grappin" refers to the ability to grab purple lums (which wasn't important in N64/PC, since none were encountered before that ability was received).
"Shoot" obviously refers to the ability to shoot.
"Clark Potion" refers to whether or not the player is in possession of the Elixir.
"Jano" probably refers to whether or not Rayman "knows the name" of the Cave Of Bad Dreams.

As for the "Ghost Mode", I suppose it makes sense that the game has (had) one, but it's interesting to actually see it written there!

I would totally do a race-against-my-own-fastest-ghost in ghost mode should that exist in Rayman 2. That's such a good idea I don't even know. It would be fun to see if you could have multiple ghosts running around too, seeing them dodge and die to non-existent enemies, be observing the environment or otherwise fucking about with the game. It becomes a bit weird when they're riding non-existent Shells, mind... or piloting ghost Warships?

But, If I posted it, that's because this text don't appear in the Dreamcast games, it's exclusive in this game, so I think it's still unlockable ^_^

So, I was checking again Rayman 2 (all versions), and it seems this is not very known, although some people did knew it, it's possible to make appear a message on Rayman 2: "always bet on duke !"
I didn't found how to make this appear, but it really works :p, N64 it seems.
Found this too: "cigale and ritchy's secret place !"
Also, Droolie found that some messages are also written
"hail to the king, baby!" "you wanna dance ?" "groovy!" and "come get some!""

I've posted about some of these before, namely the atari ones and cigale and richy's secret place. Looking it up, the "Always bet on Duke" message seems to be able to be triggered in the same place as the schplong minigame, but I can find no references as to how, other than the fact is was apparently mentioned in some guide (probably one of the official ones).
