Welcome Ambidextroid! So how does that work, you make it look like you can write with both hands, but really you can only use one?
Nice signature too!

Re: Please introduce yourself here
Well my old handle used to be "AmbidextrousMoose" on most things, but one time it didn't fit so I chose Ambidextroid as in a being that was ambidextrous. Turns out a lot of people see it as a name for an ambidextrous robot (like "droid") so I stuch with that definition. Anyway, thanks for the warm welcome!

It makes it a lot easier when you start off with a sig of Rayman 2 and a quote from Douglas Adams. You made a friend the instant I saw it. ;DAmbidextroid wrote:I've got to say, this community seems wonderful, I've been given such a nice welcoming and all...

Welcome back, Candish! I've been longing for a canned-dish for ages now, there's too much rich food at fucking city council meetings!
It's an honest joy to see you again, it's been years - I can't believe it's been three already. I'm not even joking, a wave of happiness just hit me. I'm not sure whether you still feel the same as you did back then about it, but there isn't a doubt in my mind that you were one of the most beloved members of the board by everyone. The very idea that you could have been a bother is preposterous, that couldn't have been further from the truth. I felt as though we'd lost someone special when you went inactive, and I'd always wondered now and then if you were going to return. Well, now you have, and I hope you feel comfortable enough now to stay for a bit, that would be awesome!
I'm glad your condition has improved somewhat. If you don't mind me asking, how frequently does it occur? I'm a little foggy on the details, I think you'd explained it more in-depth some time ago.
This is RayFan9876 by the way, I changed the username back in 2012.
And Ambidextroid, I definitely remember you, though for some reason I always read your old username as 'AmbidextrousMouse', maybe from all the Modest Mouse I was hearing back then.

Yeah, you used to be rayfan if I remember correctly. Asking you about that was one of my only posts back then, but I'm back

Re: Please introduce yourself here
I was wondering if you where still working on Rayman 1.5, I've been looking forward to it for about 4 years now. I remember the first vide of it I saw was called "super early gameplay test" or something like that, and it looked amazing even back then.
(I'd been waiting for Ubisoft to make another 3rd person platformer Rayman ever since I was like 9 years old, until I found this...)
Anyway, it's great here, I hope to be able to stay frequent for as long as possible, though it is my birthday tommorow so I might take a little time off to celebrate with my family and whatnot.

Dang it, stop asking for ROTD!
Just kidding, you know, that takes a hole bunch of months. Ad is not at all knowing an EXACT date of release of the game, but you sure have to know that the game will be awesome. No R3 character design, but meh.

Follow the progress of Rayman: Revenge of the Dark here. Addy dropped the '1.5' thing a long time ago.

Re: Please introduce yourself here
Yeah, I realised there was not going to be a release date a couple years back
It's just it looks so good, it seems very to be based off of Rayman 2 (unless I'm wrong) which is my favorite game in the franchise, and I have overloadng nostalgia from Rayman 1, I think it was my first ever game.
To know there was going to be a game set between the two, and to see those awesome looking levels (especially the pencil level, my favorite from the original game) and for it to be made by a fan who knows what people want (as opposed to the ever changing trends that big companies follow) I could hardly handle the utter awe of it.
Anyway, I'm only looking to see if it's still being worked on, and fortunately it is, it seems.
Edit:
Just saw your post shroob, great to see it's still going full thrust(^ω^)
Shame about the 1.5 bit, I thought it was quite good

Really? I honestly think the title sounds a heck of a lot better without the '1.5' cluttering it. "Rayman: Revenge of the Dark" flows off the tongue quite nicely.Ambidextroid wrote:Shame about the 1.5 bit, I thought it was quite good

It still is set between the first and second, I just took out the number, because it looks dumb and is horrible to pronounce. I end up saying "Rayman whum-boy-five", it's a mess.Ambidextroid wrote:Shame about the 1.5 bit, I thought it was quite good
Please, no one read the first post, I don't know why I haven't taken it down yet, everything I've written and posted on there is like three millennia old.Shrooblord wrote:Follow the progress of Rayman: Revenge of the Dark here.
