+ I'm quitting porn both because it's gross and fake, but also because I'm starting to feel like it's negatively affecting my ween. It's useless without the 18+ fuel, and I'm really not wanting that to be a thing. So, I'm taking on the challenge of not... going down there for at the very least 30 days. This'll be interesting.

+ I got to go to this really expensive fondue restaurant for my mother's birthday. I can't believe it, but an American restaurant has with no doubt taken the title of the best thing I've ever tasted. You seriously have no idea how good expensive food actually is until you've had it (and when you're not the one paying)

+ I'm really getting into fixing myself up. Now that my weight loss is slowly reaching its goal, I'm also focusing on just fixing my body in general. It's being an enormous confidence boost, and while things are going slowly, I can see myself improving a bit every week. The depressed, almost drunk looking appearance is fading away. I even look a little older, despite having the height of a 12 year old. I can't believe it, but I actually feel somewhat like myself again.

+ Became an official United States resident today, so I can get a job now.

- Talking with my brother is getting really awkward. I mentioned before he was moving, that was around the end of last year. He's got no jobs, no plans for the future, he just lives with us and does nothing. (He's got parents willing to help support him financially, and scores to get him into a university I couldn't dream about, and he's refusing to go.) What this results in is that he's got nothing left to say because his life more or less exists out of out cats and replaying old games. Sometimes I feel too adult to talk to him, because he's so stuck in that little world. He's become a US resident like me though, so our parents are gonna force him to get a job. I hope that'll get him back to his senses, because I don't think he realises how childish he comes across sometimes. (And this is the same person who thinks of me as some dimwitted kid who'll never achieve anything)

+ Found some nice job opportunities and applied for them today. That's a start.
+ Helped my mother do grocery shopping, drove her to do so (even if it took me 5 tries to be able to park the car XD), and helped for some cooking. It's good to feel at least a bit useful to the family during the weekend.
--- Now I have the feeling I am really annoying my family while being here...my father sent me an email of reproaches about not being productive and wasting my time playing video games-doing unproductive stuff. And he's living in the same house and sharing the same rooms with me. It pissed me off so much...written words always hurt as talked ones, but they stay forever. They are read over and over again. They are like a hammer hammering a thought into my mind. I hate that. I got pretty upset by it all day long.
+ Some friends helped me getting over it a bit yesterday evening as we ate together in a japanese restauran in the middle of Paris, and drunk a few beers here and there.
+ Driving exam is on Monday. I feel ready for it. I will have it this time, and all the circus about this thing will definitely be over.
+ I was told by my brother that I could sleep in his bed tonight. A real bed, a real room, even for a few hours, is better than a cinema room where you are sleeping on a couch with your clothes a your lugagges and the rest of your stuff packed in boxes, unusable.

-- National Express can go eff itself. My little sister was almost stranded in Derby after midnight when the driver decided not to stop in Loughborough at all, despite two stops being located there. Thankfully a mutiny on the bus 'sorted things out', apparently, though I'm not sure exactly what happened... I only found out today.
- A meeting with my future employer in my future venue was postponed, again, without warning. This is just the way things are done in the biz... but I don't want to spend an entire day wondering "should I groom myself" or "am I doing something tonight" and planning around an event that doesn't even take place. Crossing fingers for next Saturday.

It's good to hear that everyone everywhere hates their railroad/public transport corporations.
Good to read your sister got back home alright though. Jokes aside, being screwed over by your ride home in a strange town in the middle of the night is not a place I'd like to find myself in (though I have).

- The texture painting program I use now to paint onto my models is finnicky. It's crash-prone and the camera controls freeze up often, forcing me to restart and reload the project, which takes a while sometimes.
+ When it works without a hitch though, it works wonders on my texturing capabilities. No more trying to figure out what something looks like when being wrapped around in 3D space, hurting my brain being unable to do so. x)

- Pulled the greatest stupid ever and left my Uni and train cards in my trousers when they went in the wash, I'm in for a fun Monday.

- Sometimes I seriously wish I had a more independent lifestyle. I appreciate putting importance of family and don't consider it a bad thing, but not everything I do has to have them included. I want to be able to just leave the house without having to give a reason good enough for my mother to let me or choose to eat dinner on my own tonight. It's 1 PM and my mother is already bitching about me maybe not going outside the house with the family today.

+ If I do get to stay home though, I might have a fairly relaxed day despite the work.
