My friend - being the persistent bastard he is - searched both my local cities and everywhere seemed to be out of stock. The fact that the game came out on Black Friday (why is this even a thing in the Uk now!?) probably didn't help the stock situation at all.

Ordered my Wii U and 5 games included yesterday and won't be arriving till the 12th. And I won't be opening it until Christmas because it's not that long a wait.

The games I bought were Super Mario 3D World and Nintendo Land, which are both included with the console, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze and Super Smash Bros. U. I also bought Rayman Legends for the Wii U as well and I bought a DK amiibo two weeks ago. I'm also planning on buying 4 extra Wiimotes and the GC controller and adapter.

I saw copies when I went to pick my Limited Edition Pokémon Alpha Sapphire copy. Only two of them were available as the GC Adapter pack.

The GC adapter is sold out, and Nintendo may not restock sadly.

In France you have to wait until the 5th of December if you want the GC adaptator, unless you preordered the premium pack, which Nintendo only supplied 60% of the demand. GG Nintendo.

Amazon.de is doing that CyberMonday again. On a time period of 2 hours they're reducing prices for specific products. Just now I saw they had Smash Brothers Wii U on sale and I instantly picked it up! And I was lucky! The offer price got sold out right after completing my transaction

Holy shit guys, never have I been this happy with a $60 purchase in a LONG time, I'm really excited to give you guys a full review of Smash on Wii U.

I'm now looking to hunt down a GC controller adapter... hate to say it, but I may just give in and pay $100 for one on ebay...

Edit: I also recommend nobody goes online until Nintendo sorts this issue out. It's shit like this I can't stand from Nintendo...

Is this only for American copies? I remember Mario Kart 8 US having similar issue that can brick your Wii U and Nintendo never even talked about it. PAL version was fine. Is PAL version of SSB safe?
