Re: The Person-Above-You Game!
^ is god damn right < knows that Carnage! < has completed both that Spiderman game and its sequel, Enter Electro. Admittedly < played the sequel first but they're both still great games. Unless nostalgia is hitting < really hard. < also recalls Carnage from the 1994 animated series, as well as Ultimate Spiderman. (The game not the crappy TV show)
If < hasn't made it obvious enough already, < kind of grew up on Spiderman. xD

Re: The Person-Above-You Game!
Does ^ also think Electro is much cooler in the Spider-Man PS1 version than in the current Amazing Spider-Man movie franchise? Not only in design, but also personality.

^ played Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro? < used to have that as a kid too, < was rubbish at it, but it was pretty fun regardless.

^'ll know that < did not. < has a very limited library of PS1 games, but < loves all of them. <'s favourite will always be L.A.P.D.: Future Cop.

Re: The Person-Above-You Game!
^ is right in believing that < thinks the Electro in that game was way cooler in every way that the one in Amazing Spider-Man 2. < really wishes that they would hurry up and make a spinoff based on Carnage, but they'd almost certainly fuck it up, and I doubt anyone wants a repeat of Spider-Man 3.
Speaking of Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro, < would always get scared/surprised by the Lizard appearing in the lab cutscene. You could say that was <'s first proper jumpscare. Damn guys, now < is gonna have to go back and play through that game again. So many good memories. Oh and the different suits! And you could make your own custom suits! Ah so many things I loved about that game.

Re: The Person-Above-You Game!
wat u can make custom suits
waaaat
Does ^ prefer the original Spider-Man film series over the newer one? < does. < doesn't understand why they made another series. Also, < doesn't quite get why Mary Jane has been replaced by this Gwen person, but apparently Spider-Man has had multiple incarnations in the past across all comic book series and this is just another one of them. Complicated.
< preferred Willem Dafoe as the Green Goblin. Such a good actor. Also, the whole Goblin thing felt incredibly rushed in this new film. That villain deserves a film of his own, not ten minutes of another bad guy's spotlight.

Re: The Person-Above-You Game!
Yea in Enter Electro you could make custom suits out of different abilities and stuff. Can't recall if the cosmetics were interchangeable or just one piece changes.
< thinks both series are good, but if < had to pick < would go with the new series. < thinks that Andrew Garfield fits the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man a lot better than Tobey Maguire did, although that might just be be because < isn't very fond of Tobey Maguire in general. < also prefers Gwen Stacy/Emma Stone over Mary Jane/Kirsten Dunst any day. < thinks the Green Goblin bit was definitely rushed, but emo Harry has kind of grown on <. The reason the new Spider-Man movie felt a bit rushed (especially with that Rhino scene shoehorned in at the end) is because they're making way for the Sinister Six, I'm excited for what the new series could potentially bring and my god they better not fuck up when they introduce the symbiote and Venom. Spider-Man 3 was a mess.
Of course if ^ wants to see what < considers to be the best incarnation of Spider-Man ever, ^ should watch 'Spectacular Spider-Man'. Unfortunately it's only got two seasons because some shit went down when the rights to Spider-Man were being transferred which ended up with the show being cancelled, but it's still bloody amazing and gets very close to being at the top of my all time favourite animated shows.
P.S. They didn't make the web shooters a part of Peter Parker in the new series thank god.

Re: The Person-Above-You Game!
^ hopes that the Symbiotes come to their full right as much as < does. < enjoyed what SM3 did to them, but they weren't ever as cool as < remembers them from the PS1 game. Also, < likes Venom blue, not black.
Emo Harry is a pretty cool guy, yeah. < liked his character shift. But Willem Dafoe man... Willem Dafoe! You can't switch out Willem Dafoe for an old guy in a bed!
One of the things < didn't quite understand about the new series is how he got his powers. He seems to have this web-shooter thing mounted on his arm as opposed to having webs physically come out of his wrists? Seems off to <...
Anywax, seeing as they've probably given up on the old series in favour of this new one, <'s excited to see where it'll go.

Re: The Person-Above-You Game!
< completely forgot about Norman Osbourne in Amazing Spider-Man 2! Yea he was pretty forgettable.
Unlike ^, < thinks the wrist mounted shooters are much better. < never really liked the "he has web coming out of his wrists because REASONS" thing. < likes the idea that Peter designed and created the web shooters for himself, plus it allows for some cool maneuvers like that web explosion thing.

Re: The Person-Above-You Game!
< is pretty sure the web shooters system ^ and ^^ are talking about was how it was originally done, him being able to shoot webs straight from his wrists were a movie only thing, looking at all the Spider-Man material I've ever seen.

Oh. Then < congratulates them on staying truer to the comics this time around. ^'s information is appreciated.

Re: The Person-Above-You Game!
Yea, < always thought the web shooters were a much better idea than magic wrist web. It just makes more sense in <'s opinion.
All this talk of Spider-Man is making < want to go rewatch Spectacular Spider-Man and play the old PS1 game.
In other news, has ^^ watched the new Legend of Korra episode? < is about to.

< has, < hopes ^ will enjoy it, it features yet another reappearance of a past antagonist.

Re: The Person-Above-You Game!
Do ^ or ^^ know if this will be the final season of the series? <'d like to start watching, but - bingewatcher as < is - <'d like the series to be complete first.

Re: The Person-Above-You Game!
< just watched it and was really happy with that appearance! < is really glad they could weave him into the story for at least one more appearance before the end!
And as ^ already said, it is indeed the last season. ^^ should definitely get onto watching it now, as there's only about 4 episodes until the end I believe!
