Game Freak just really seems to like there ghost stuff.

Anyways I just beat Delta Emerald which while a bit on the short side was a pretty fucking awesome addition, don't wanna spoil the ending but it was pretty fucking epic.

I have got 6 Badges already. Although I agree that the made has been made more easy than in the original GBA titles due to some obvious reasons I am enjoying the game a lot so far.

I just finished the game today including it's Delta episode and simply put; is it superior to RS? Yeah, far more superior. Is it superior to Emerald? WELL- it's certainly missing a lot of Emerald features which last night I loved, so it's very hard for me to say that it's better than Emerald. That being said I would enjoy a Hoenn sequel more than an Emerald remake mostly to fill in the time gaps where the events of Emerald happen, although i'm unsure what sort of story that would end up being.

Also Zinnia and her theme is a god send.

Yeah, about her theme, at first, I though of Sycamore, it sounded a bit French to start off.

I think if I just pretend that Emerald was just some fan-made one off game then it makes OR/AS seem a lot better!

I agree with you. I also finished the game in the same day as Serza and I enjoyed a lot the Delta Episode. Also, in the very same day I was lucky enough to cross with someone with an Eon Ticket! I caught Latios as a result. :D

Nah there's certainly some things in ORAS that are superior to Emerald, most notably when it comes to telling the story. It's just that there's features unique to Emerald that where missed out in this game that ultimately leads to ORAS losing points in those areas.

[My biggest disappointment is still the lack of Juan in it and funnily enough as I wrote this I only found out he does in fact get referenced in the contests where Lisia talks about how "Uncle Wall" has a mentor named Juan.]

I'm not going to deny the fact Emerald was a lot better in most aspects, HOWEVER, I have been greatly enjoying Omega Ruby, going after the entire Regi Trio, catching Ho-oh, etc.

Unfortunately I need to catch other Legendaries which aren't in my version in order to progress (for example for the 3 Johto dogs, Raiko, Suicune, and Entei I need Lugia which is in Alpha Sapphire.) So my girlfriend got Alpha Sapphire so she's gonna assist me with that. :3

Yeah there's a lot of "catch on the other to continue" legendary points which is still naft. Speaking of I caught Mespirit before the Pokemon League because I came across the mirage spot and went for it.

Picked it up right at the start of the game to use it as part of my team. It was ironically very useful when battling against Steven.

I'm no competitive Pokemon player but I kept restarting my 3ds constantly until I got a Shiny Beldum with Adamant nature, as it raises his attack and lowers special attack, I plan to train him to be pretty deadly.

On another note I'm having a lot of fun trying to catch some of these legendaries, but you really gotta wonder how the fuck some people were suppose to figure this out without a guide... For example Uxie can only be caught at 8:00-9:00 p.m. with three maxed out happiness Pokemon... Who the fuck would know this? Or in order to catch Regigigas you HAVE to nickname your Regice and have him hold a specific item in order for it to work... How the fuck does anyone figure this out without a guide?

Is it just me or does the EXP share in these newer games make you SERIOUSLY over-leveled!

Seriously?

I managed to catch a Cobalion and a Mesprit but is it linked with the fact my 6 team members have got 4 hearts of happiness?

My favourite Pokemon of all time is... Starmie. Been that since I was a kid!

I've got a pretty dangerous move-set on it too! Here's my ultimate Starmie move-set, which I've used to frustrate a lot of my friends in the past ;D

Double Team
Recover
Toxic
Surf

- Okay, so you set up a toxic (if you can), and then start to double team. You double team till you can't double team anymore, but if you get low HP just use recover.

Then surf it out.

DANGEROUS.

I knew about the Regigigas requirement but huh.

I know I have Mespirit (Which i'm not sure how I unlocked). I got Ho-Oh at Sea Mauville after giving the scanner to Stern (Which was a hassle to find x.x), and then I also got Cresselia today again with no indication how or why I found the spot for it.
