Re: Windows 7 or Windows 8?
There are lot Dumped Softwares for Windows, though it's available on BetaArchive (Which you must dump the ISO or MDS file by using alcohol or daemon tools lite.)
Even though, i've been tried to find something the beta softwares for Windows, that can be tested. as always verifying BIOS Date (Not real laptop or PC, but only virtual machine)
So by the way, i have lot ISOs for Windows, containing XP Betas and Server 2003 Betas. i also have vista beta too (since i have Longhorn Build 4001).

Re: Windows 7 or Windows 8?
XP is always good.
Re: Windows 7 or Windows 8?
I've always had a thing for XP, the only reason I use 7 now is because I need a 64 bit OS

Re: Windows 7 or Windows 8?
Anyone tried using Virtual PC 2007? It does work on Windows 7 (must not install with Windows 7 VPC otherwise it would be blocked compatibility).
Since newer OS for Virtual PC 2007 was incompatible issue, so it was blocked.

Re: Windows 7 or Windows 8?
Well 7 is better
Re: Windows 7 or Windows 8?
Microsoft told in a conference that it was to make an impression with their brand new OS to get directly to 10.

I always looked at 8.1 kind of like 9 also, but I know it wasn't.LoveMetal wrote:Microsoft told in a conference that it was to make an impression with their brand new OS to get directly to 10.

Bump
Have you seen about Windows 7 Support? It will ending support until 2020. Because Microsoft announces Extended Security Updates for Windows 7. Only Professional and Enterprise paid. giving support until 2023.

Re: Windows 7 or Windows 8?
Yeah and it's unfortunate, especially since my PC has no GPU drivers for Windows 8, despite having them for 7. I don't like being forced to use Windows 10, so Linux is just looking better and better by the day.
