I agree with you there Dark Lum Lord. The PS1 was totally better than the N64, and my favorite console of all time.

So is the Super Nintendo your second-favourite now?

Also, picking up an Xbox One in two hours.

I like how 95% of the XBox One hate is people going "Well it WAS gonna have all that stuff so it's still bad!" or suddenly nitpicking other aspects that they didn't give a shit about before Microsoft listened to the complaints.

Getting a console on launch? Really? Console launch's aren't exactly wise.

If Project Spark and Titanfall were launch titles, I'd actually seriously consider an Xbox One for Christmas as they are the only things that look... *googles release date to double check when they actually come out*

.....AAAAAAAND they're coming out for PC. Never mind.

@Rayfist: Pretty much my attitude. I'll be getting Super Mario 3D World and the new Professor Layton before long. And possibly the 3DS version of Sonic Lost World, as well as KH 1.5 HD. I'm set for the holidays, if I want games. These are just a few I might want.

Kinect is pretty impressive so far, although haven't had too long to try it yet.
Downloading CoD Ghosts but only a quarter of the way there right now..
Controller is really really nice and I doubt I'll prefer the Dualshock 4 over this

@Adsolution wanna be Xbox friends?

I find it funny Microsoft is at it once again tackling people to get away from Nintendo.
I now have huge faith Nintendo will get out of the shit they were in with the Wii U originally. XD

To be honest I'd rather see Sony just help localize Yakuza 5, for fuck sakes that game needs to come to America.

Console launches have problems, barely any games to last you enough time, I usually think its smart to wait a year or two to pick up those things.
Zelda A Link Between The Worlds comes out today, and I'm hearing it's one of the best portable Zelda's yet, so who cares really XD

No, I've got my Day-One edition Xbox One. It doesn't matter if I buy it in a year or two from now or on launch, the only difference is the potential for a small price drop, and I'm not going to hold off buying a next-generation console for a full year or two and miss out on all the anticipated titles being released during then just to save $50-100. ;)

I would appreciate Yakuza Spin-Off with Miyamoto Musahsit to be localized more, but Yakuza 5 would be nice too.

I don't give a fuck what this guy says or does to make this dramatic, but the Xbox One don't have the sport game that I am planning to get in the future: MLB 14 The Show.

Meh, I've never gone for a console at launch in my life, regardless of hype, I prefer to wait things out.

So, Ad and BadGuy, with Ones, eh? How do you guys find them?

Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has commented that this is all going according to plan.
Reggie, we love you so much, your body is always ready. Always.

In all seriousness, I have a feeling that these articles are exaggerating the amount of people ditching the Xbox One for Mario, but in general, the Xbox One isn't getting the best reception, and never has been.

And because someone mentioned the DRM issues the Xbox One used to have:

To those of you saying Microsoft are in the all clear for removing those policies, they're not. For one thing, they aren't even removed, merely disabled. There is a day one patch that disables all of the things people hated about the Xbox One when it was initially unveiled. It doesn't REMOVE them (apparently the system's architecture was so heavily built around these policies, that to completely remove them would result in a delay of the console's launch). This means that they have been deactivated, and can be turned right back on at any time Microsoft pleases. I believe it was stated that they weren't completely done with these policies, just further revising them and watching how the Xbox One does without them.

Also, Microsoft are confirmed to have been involved in the NSA scandals. This, combined with them pitching the idea of using Kinect and their webcam services to provide personal customer information to shareholders, has people feeling uneasy about the company in general. And they don't exactly have a nice track record in terms of being good and honest to their customers (Xbox 360 launch).

And before anyone calls me out as a Microsoft hater, I'm not. This is just me explaining why many people are still skeptical about Microsoft. My big reason for not wanting an Xbox One is simply because they don't have any interesting exclusives that might draw me in (also, it's seriously not worth the asking price, for me. This is obviously a subjective thing though), as of now. And while the PS4 doesn't either, Sony have established franchises I love, and games coming out later that I already really want, which is why I would choose it over the Xbox One (also, PS Plus just provides better and more free games and I can't argue with that).

I honestly think Microsoft have a lot of potential (I wouldn't suggest they look into the prospect of unique arcade complexes for nothing). They are just not using it. I feel similarly about Nintendo too (only to a much smaller degree).

NIGGA I waited a year to get my Wii U. Just kidding, though I did get it few months after its launch, what I'm saying is, why get it on day one? There could be reported problems, etc. At least wait a month or two, oh well.

BTW Ad, congrats on your Xbox One, you gonna get DR3?

And over here we have our first Xbox One game to get rated a 2
