My windows xp is in norwegian, but translated the error message is:
"The program was not correctly initialized"

By the way, the edges appear pixelated, which is weird since the original game uses no anti-aliasing. Maybe there's something wrong with the platforms you ripped...

There is a noticeable difference as concerns flute trees though:

In fact, a zoom reveals that the flute tree is altered, as if it was compressed by a lossy algorithm.

No, but graphic quality is very important and I'm sure Equilibrium will agree. Now if all you can bring to this topic is non-constructive criticism and thoroughly stupid remarks, I strongly recommend that you keep them for yourself.

Well the problem obviously comes from the tilesheets ;) How did you get them? For some reason they were compressed; probably saved as JPGs or something.
