I don't think it's too much of a spoiler to say Matyuv hasn't run it for years, at least since he quit the mod team
Definitely the positives are better than the negatives. There've been quite a few negatives but infinitely more positives. Like you, R4Y, Plum, Aaron.....like honestly I'm really glad to be friends with you and everyone else I've met.Steo wrote: Sat Aug 26, 2023 7:37 amI didn't realise you thought this, but it's flattering that you do.The Jonster wrote: Sat Aug 26, 2023 4:43 amThis still surprises me. The first person from here I met was probably Adsolution actually, except I met her on Betilla's Gardens before we both came here!
Anyways the first person I met was definitely Steo, although I still remember his old username back when I first met him. One of the nicest guys I met and probably one of the biggest influences towards my growth of character here on the internet.![]()
I believe the first person I can remember to ever respond to me was Plum. That's going off memory at least. I do know that Jonster is someone I had a lot of talks with over the years, also really nice and friendly, and we used to both be two very hyperactive posters on here back when we first joined. I met a lot of cool people in the Rayman community (many who inspired me), and I believe the positives outweigh the negatives by far when it comes to the people I have met.![]()
Yeah and I met Hoodoo in the community too. Who would expect to get a girlfriend in the Rayman community. The Jonster wrote: Sat Aug 26, 2023 6:54 pm Definitely the positives are better than the negatives. Speaking of which, wonder where Aaron is? I kinda feel he would usually come around late at this time.
That is sum pr0 gam3r edit1ng sk111z right thereAmbidextroid wrote: Sat Aug 26, 2023 7:05 pm Pretty sure Adsolution was the first person I met here too, seeing as this video was my introduction to Rayman PC
Another idea as a video presentation would be a notepad writing whatever you want very slow and playing Evanescence - Bring me to life. Old traditions were the best idk why aren't we doing this anymore.Ambidextroid wrote: Sat Aug 26, 2023 7:05 pm Pretty sure Adsolution was the first person I met here too, seeing as this video was my introduction to Rayman PC
Maybe because ever-shortening attention spans mean people would prefer to just read text on a webpage?DaveRattlehead wrote: Sat Aug 26, 2023 9:03 pmAnother idea as a video presentation would be a notepad writing whatever you want very slow and playing Evanescence - Bring me to life. Lol, there are actually learning videos of people doing that?DaveRattlehead wrote: Sat Aug 26, 2023 10:23 pm Ngl, I'd prefer reading a text rather than watching a video where the person spends more time deleting the message and rewriting it than explaining the topic![]()
I’ve never heard of a video like that, are they common? The Jonster wrote: Mon Aug 28, 2023 1:58 pmLol, there are actually learning videos of people doing that?DaveRattlehead wrote: Sat Aug 26, 2023 10:23 pm Ngl, I'd prefer reading a text rather than watching a video where the person spends more time deleting the message and rewriting it than explaining the topic![]()
