Actually, I'm pretty content with my combo in the final room. I've given up on looking for a method to combo the Tribelle for 2500 or improve the combo in any way after one last, desperate attempt on Wednesday (or was it Thursday?). In my opinion it's impossible to include the two yellow gems on the ground floor and the single yellow gem below the horizontal vines in any combo, which means any investigation would remain pointless.

I prefer to look for improvements in the other rooms but no look so far.

Yeah! I found the missing secret room in DOTK!!! I grew tired of playing the other hard levels for more points and just wanted to relax and played DOTK for fun. In part 3 I was just fooling around, making the Knaaren follow me as far as possible (the one near the first Matuvu). Also I experimented with the Knaaren walking the path in the next room. At some point I made him stand in front of the big door at the end of the path. I let him stand there yelling at the door while I started to collect the gems. I started on top with the cage. I broke the cage and expected to get the usual green gem. But instead of giving me this gem, the Teensie flew down and opened the big door at the end of the path. A big room was revealed and around a statue of the Knaaren king there was an outer circle of six yellow gems, an inner circle of five red gems and on either side of the statue one green gem. I quickly ran back to renew the Lockjaw, hoping the room would remain open. It did stay open and I got a combo of 18.780 points. This opens up a whole new perspective in the game and I’m still trying to find out the significance. First of all, I will try to make it happen again. Apparently it has something to do with the position of the Knaaren(s).

Did you find the 61st cage though? It's in that room! I have 61 cages, check the HoF for proof!

The HoF doesn't quite convince me, given the other information displayed beside your name.

You mean the 2 points? It's a glitch, the actual score is 1 million and 2 points.

You know, I would laugh heavily if this was actually the solution to opening the secret (if it exists).

Anyway yeah not very authentic considering the inactivity this topic now holds. :(

As I'm bedridden with the flu and a slight fever these days I have a lot of time to explore this level. I managed to open the secret room just one time again. So I'm not completely sure what triggers it, apart from the fact that one has to manipulate these Knaaren.
I have already improved my combo in this room. After you get the Lockjaw, get the yellow and the red gems while charging your fist. After taking the two green gems, kill the Knaaren that you have made standing in the doorway with one hit. Quickly fall down and get the two gems in the hallway below and get the Matuvu in combo (this Matuvu is worth 2.000 points in combo as you have exactly 15 objects before you take it). Continue the combo with the remaining two yellow gems. This combo is worth 30.060 points and thus the biggest combo in the game. I will henceforth refer to this combo as "The Knaaren Combo". Also note that this Knaaren is the only one you can kill in this level and that's probably why he is worth 1.500 points.

Back to the game. I will look out for Matyuv's 61st cage.

Xenon, I'm not very active here since I don't want to improve further 1 month ago, but I will begin to play again in a while. I see, you aren't really active in this thread, too, why not?
Anyways, nice April joke MandM :P
(Would be great if it wouldn't - but weird you explored and posted it on the 1st April :mefiant: )

At 848,000 I'm a bit immobile, but some day, similarly to you, I shall try to improve. The next level I'll be playing is TFC as I've promised myself to earn the missing 1500 points from the 3MC. At the moment I'm lacking in motivation, though.

By the way, I'm still waiting for you to overtake. :P

You know, it becomes better, but I still struggle with a gay, supernerving saurian named Razoff :P

You still haven't cracked it yet? Hmm, there simply must be a higher frequency of successful Razoff glitches for PS2 players... first go it took me four attempts, second it took me around 25. That's less than two days' work.

Welcome!

Your scores are pretty good indeed, but there's definitely some room for improvement. TBOM, for example, you can get 35000+ more points using the hellish combos that are described in the solution. Combos like the one in part 3 are the sole components that make the level so difficult, so it's a good idea to practise such. Which level are you playing now?

Your TSBTC score is pretty impressive by the way.

I know, that i can be better at BOM. Part 1 and 2 aren't big problems. I master them everytime with around 12000 points. I think, this is enough. My big problem is part 3. The hell-combo will never work only 0,001%! I will get only 30000 at the end of this part. The 4th part isn't that problem. The green gem for 9000, and there is no problem anymore. Razoff, Oh i don't want to talk about it. The fact is: I will get a double-glitch at 2 of 3 times. But it will never work in the room, with the 4 yellow gems. So my biggest Combo ever at Razoff' was 7500 (with the green gem). And this was at 680000, now I've got 47000 points more, and are worse. So, for the BOM i will lost 1 week, ALONE for Razoff. I don't want to speak about part 3...
