Your YouTube Channel

What type of PC screen recorder do you guys use? the one I have is giving me trouble
 
A fellow YT watcher of my channel has donated me an EasyCap for console-content recording. I might receive it in February. ;)
 
Well this has been a pain in the neck! When I go to record R3 on bandicam it looks fine, but when you play the recordingin place of the game it shows a white screen even though you can hear it perfectly. And after lots of research I found that I need to turn off the hardware acceleration, but the problem is that Catalyst Control Center (the security thing my computer came with) won't change it. does anybody know of a way around that?

Are you sure thats the reason why it shows white screen? Have you tried selecting different codec?
 
No, but thanks for reminding me of that, it just may be I was running around in circles! :)
edit: wait, we're talking about the recorders codec right?
 
from what I can tell, it seems I need one of the codec's they recommend, which probably means I have to buy the full version of bandicam.

If you don't have money for it. Plus maybe it wont solve your problems so make sure you don't waste money. Just try it with cracked one.
 
not fond of downloading torrents but ok, i'll try. edit: says that files may contain malware. Out of curiosity, what codec did you use when playing Crash 2?

But the CCC isn't even a security software but yes AMD's control panel for the graphic cards of them. :boon:

Avast did not report any malware to me.
My codec of preference is Lagarith Lossless Codec.
 
Great was thinking of downloading that, dont know why I didn't before. in any case the recorder catches my GBA emu, so if worst comes to worst I'll start there.
Edit OK its recording now. thanks SO much for that help, U deserve 300 tings!
 
Hm, all this talk of recording reminds me of how exasperating it is that my laptop struggles to record the likes of Rayman 2, even with Bandicam.

Ah good one of my strikes disappeared; not entirely sure when as it wasn't dot on the date but hopefully my other one can go too. And then I can maybe start doing stuff again!

The other strike I had that disappeared was made on June 12th and at first I thought "no it's not gonna go away" after checking it a few days ago, but it looks like it takes a couple weeks after the 6 month mark for it to go. :S
 
Awesome. You really had luck. I hope other one disappears too. I had a friend who got 2 strikes in one day by a false flagger who did it just because he disliked him. They never disappeared.
