Rayman Pirate-Community

I’m fine with the new Polokus design, but I wish they’d kept more of his basic recognisable features (his purple-and-yellow hat, his blue pants with the golden buckle, and the fact that his arms were much longer than his legs). I suppose the idea that he’s a shapeshifter makes the redesign easier to swallow, but I’m not sure if his other forms (like the rock and the tree from the concept art) are even in the game any more.

Same opinion here. But I also like the idea of Polokus being a shapeshifter, and his new design.

I agree as well.

I dunno... I kinda like his new design more, but it would be better if he had the hat.

This is a change I approve of. I didn't much like Polokus's design anyway.

Agreed. His original design didn't really appeal to me in the beginning. Fat little man with uncanny long arms, was my first thought.

I've never seen that picture before, but it certainly looks a lot better than the Polokus we've received.

It looks almost exactly the same to me. The drawing isn’t hampered by hardware shortcomings, and the pattern on the hat is different, that’s all.

And his mouth is shaped very differently, though I'm not sure if that's because this is a cartoon. I think the detailed feet make the model look a hundred times more pleasant to look at, though I'm not just comparing hi-poly to lo-poly, but the concept of the design.

Wow. I've never seen that picture before.

I really like the teensie ninja in R.O. For some reason i prefer gliding over rayman's helicopter ability, though i guess they are kind of the same.
