The You Game!

<'s computer has started randomly locking up again. < assumes the RAM has issues, which it a really bad thing as it's expensive for DDR4. The computer will just lock up and the screen will turn a solid colour. Just as < was reading ^'s post, the entire screen turned the colour of the lighter post background colour of RPC and < had to hold the power button to force the computer off.

It's not like < abuses the computer or anything, < hardly even plays games on it, and <'s pretty sure that none of the Rayman games are demanding in the slightest to a system like this. Surely it can't be the GPU, but if it's the RAM then that's a nice €150+ out of <'s pocket.
 
< has been playing more of Oddworld Abe's Exoddus than Rayman 2. < finds Oddworld more fun and challenging but fair than Rayman 2. < is stuck on the water level with the dolphin. Pesky piranhas.

< wonders if you'll be running a memtest.
 
< will try it. At least if one stick is bad then there's still 8gb for now. < will try run it for a couple of hours.
 
< suggests that ^ includes Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends in the "Your favorite UbiArt title" part of the survey. Other than that, < has no problem with it and < enjoyed filling out the survey, though saying that, < did get kinda annoyed that there was no Origins or Legends option because if there would've been, < would've chosen Origins.
 
< had to hang up TV's. <'s mother is buying <'s old TV and < is using the free 40" 1080p one < got for the time being, until < can afford an OLED. Just about everything went wrong while hanging them due to the mounting height and I/O port locations. :mrgreen:

< would go with Rayman Origins as <'s favourite because < loves the art style, the gameplay, the music etc. The game is just so amazing to <. :hap:

The only thing is the pig Latin, but it doesn't change how < feels about the amazing game. It's between that and Rayman 2, but < really loves Origins for getting < back into the series, which also resulted in < becoming a very active member here. :P

That section is named “favorite UbiArt mobile title”. Origins/Legends are already in the “favorite main series title” section since they’re part of the main series.

< will run memtest while < plays one of <'s consoles. If it checks out for a few cycles, then < will probably just have to reseat the RAM and GPU then hope one was just out of alignment or dusty.
 
< has gotten a pass so far with no errors, but < will let it pass a couple more times.

< has the monitor boxed up and ready for collection tomorrow for RMA. < wonders if the monitor itself could be faulty, though < doubts a monitor would really cause the whole PC to lock up. < guesses it's not impossible if it was shorting though.
 
< tested a stamina based match in SSBB and they are interesting as heck. It actually makes gameplay similar to those Fighting games that include Health/Life bars(Like Mortal Kombat.
 
< has woken up in the middle of the night feeling pretty awful and doesn't seem to be able to get back to sleep. That's reflux for you. :P

< ran memtest for 3 passes last night with no errors, so surely the RAM should be OK. < should probably still run it for longer just in case though.
 
<'s ban from Wiimfi should be off today but < fails to see the point of going online again Since Dolphin is just going to lag. < even downloaded the iishiruka version and got the same result performance as the original dolphin < has. :roll:
 
< would assume it's the GPU falling short unfortunately, but then it depends on your specs. Either way unless you know a little about tech, you can't really do much unfortunately.

< could ask what CPU and GPU ^ has and < just assumes it's a laptop, meaning ^ can't change the GPU anyway.
